Re: Euro Bus Simulator DLC discussion
@Seerman Their old models that they made back then, yes – though in theory, coaches could be in development that weren't publicly announced yet, and I think this could reasonably include the Setra S 341 if Daimler was still alright with SCS representing their older model in the game.
@harishw8r The thing is though, SCS know that people will analyse any and all images that they post with an eagle-eyed comb. so I really don't think they'd put their old Setra model in the background if they didn't plan on ever using it – especially since the outside model of the Volvo 9700 DD seems to at least already be complete enough to use as a height ruler if they brought it in.
But yeah, we can't say for sure – I guess we'll see.

It seems so. I think I'm all mixed up in my head.

If it was good for 12 years, then now a lot of water has flowed under the bridge and releasing models of such quality today is at least not the same level.
Whatever anyone says, coaches in ETS are exactly what is needed. Cars in ETS would not be so interesting, unlike ATS, where the theme of traveling around America by car is more relevant.

Yeah, agreed.
Though I'm all for having both coaches and cars in both games.

I mean they didn't say they ruled out that cars won't come to ETS2. That's just my thoughts so far.

With the comically high overpass and tunnels all over the map, double deckers would fit just fine.harishw8r wrote: 11 Jul 2025 13:48
I don’t think it will make it to the game. Possible theory is that they used the old model to test if the map is double-decker ready (given the only DD known to come, the Volvo 9600, is not fully modeled yet).
Note that all UI images they have shown so far are mockups and not from the game itself. Seems like a lot of things are still in conceptual stages.

@Runoff_975 Yeah; I believe in both the PRT vidcast as well as the Coaches vidcast, they mentioned that if these DLCs do well, they do fully intend to bring them to the other game too; so eventually both'll exist for both – which I'm honestly really happy about.

The hardest part would be of course obtaining licenses, since implementing a known value should be a relative piece of cake.

Re: Euro Bus Simulator DLC discussion
Few days ago i saw the nice Setra S531DT Butterfly from Germany, with the trailer for luggage. Sorry, I couldn't take a good picture, because there were a lot of guys getting on the bus on the other side, and a lot of cars were coming from this side.
