@ADNY LAU Where are you getting this idea that it's coming in mid 2026? No date was announced, hinted, or teased at to my knowledge. They also have not said whether Road Trip or Coaches will release first, as far as I know.

Stop listening to uninformed click bait on the internet. Until SCS tells us when they are coming we have no idea on when or which we will be first.
And neither project has 'priority' as they are being worked on by different teams in different games.

Yes, you are thinking on an extreme way. To be more precise, in an extremely wrong way.

You think SCS is a company that makes truck video-games with maps where we drive them. And that's fundamentally wrong. SCS is a company that make video-games about maps to be driven by, and it happened we start driving trucks on them. Any game developer company with proper funds and a bunch of professionals could make a video-game with the same trucks SCS has (they could be even better in lots of things). No company is going to make the maps SCS has; either by lacking the big funding necessary to do it (SCS has been working on them for near 20 years) or because that game developer would want to apply their own flavor for their games; different than the one SCS used.

So, maps are fundamentally the more distinctive, unique and expensive asset SCS owns and it will always be in their best interest to use them as much as possible. Limit themselves to use them only for a single truck driving game it's a nonsense in the long run. The only reason it took them so much time to release a second game/mode/whatever is because they make their investments carefully and thinking on the long-term.

Yes the huge detailed maps we have in ATS and ETS2 are rather unique in the business

I wonder if Volvo 9700 single decker will be added? Volvo buses seem rare, and are more common in Scandinavian countries. At least I hardly see them, unlike others.

In Spain, operator Cevesa from Madrid have several 9700

I don’t expect the 9700 during the initial launch. Maybe for the future.

IMO, if there is even enough capacity to add more buses for the initial launch, they should focus on the missing brands.
