50keda, I think that your work could be a starting point to SCS Devs to include Force Feedback in wheels (years later) for Linux users. This is like radio Stations... we can' t understand it

Re: FFB plugin (v2.5.4 - 20.12.2017) [Linux]
Thanks for this - I'm trying to get FFB on ATS/ETS2 on my iMac. Should this work on MacOS?
I'd try it but I can't find where the plugins folder is for ETS2/ATS on MacOS. In fact, I can't even find the bin folder to start working my way down the tree! Can anyone offer some words of advice please?

I'm getting this error. Am I overlooking something?

Apologies false alarm, it helps if I plug in my wheel first. DUH!
Just been trying this out extensively this weekend, wow what a difference this makes? Thanks @50keda you are a star
Would you consider porting the Smooth Interior Camera plugin to Linux in the future? Especially now that it has gone open source.

Not using a Mac but generic instructions apply and assume you are using Steam. However, the plugin is not written for MacOS so no idea whether the built-in scripts will work (although MacOS is technically UNIX so it might?).Feek wrote: 25 Jan 2018 18:58 Thanks for this - I'm trying to get FFB on ATS/ETS2 on my iMac. I'd try it but I can't find where the plugins folder is for ETS2/ATS on MacOS. In fact, I can't even find the bin folder to start working my way down the tree! Can anyone offer some words of advice please?
1. Right click on ATS in your Library
2. Select Properties
3. Go to the Local Files tab and select Browse Local Files
4. File manager window pops up and go into the bin folder
5. There should be a "macos" or equivalent, mine says "linux_x64", go into that.
6. It's here you need to create the "plugins" folder, and then extract the plugin files into that folder.

Quote removed.
Thanks - I've already been here and checked this. I don't have a bin folder in that location and even creating one and the appropriate tree below it, it doesn't work.

Re: FFB plugin (v2.5.4 - 20.12.2017) [Linux]
I am using a Logitech Driving Force GT on Ubuntu 16.04 and the plugin seems to work. Only problem is that when I am driving straight and I let go of the wheel it starts to quickly shake from side to side. This only stops when I grab the wheel again. I suspect some sort of overcompensating. I have tried to fiddle with the parameters but no luck so far.
Does anybody have a solution or a hint which parameter is causing this behaviour?
Thanks in advance.
