@Feek: well there is a problem that SCS Telemetry SDK doesn't support Mac currently, so you won't have any luck using it on Mac.

@gimme_botties: do you use any physics mods? If not check the config file (real_ffb.ini) and search for: "steer_range" attribute and set it to 35.

Is there any preference as to whether the G29 wheel should be used in PS3 or PS4 mode in Linux? I've been using PS3 as the PS4 mode doesn't seem to behave as expected, and I wonder if it's just me or not.

Hi 50keda :)

Thanks a lot for the plugin!

However, I'm finding it a bit "bland" compared to the FFB in Windows. While the weight is there, detail is missing e.g. engine and road feel.

Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

@Toquinha: nope, it's rumble effect that's not implemeneted on linux for G27 thus I didn't bother implementing it. :D But hey maybe it's time for me to fire up text editor again and try to do it :D

From experience so far, rumble effects on gear driven FFB is pretty disappointing. It feels very notchy, especially when combined with turning. I'm interested to see how you go.
Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

You will get more help in the Help forum rather than this thread.
