Are there some news in the development of this plugin or is already finished?

Some official scs dev could take this job and use it to give Force Feedback support to ETS2 and ATS

Is the source code available for this?

@leillo: well except rumble effect implementation, everything works.

@grizzly: nope, original code if from Supric, so ask him. I "just" adapted this to Linux clients as API is way differenet than direct input on windows.

Hi 50keda, I'm on Linux so that's the code I'd like to see. It works pretty well so thanks for your effort.

I guess I worry a bit that SCS will change something and break the plugin and we might be stuck with no FFB.

I wish SCS would make the effort and build it into the game...

@Grizzly: no worries, this plugin shouldn't be broken so easily as it's based on telemetry, which luckily doesn't change much. Actually channels that are provided by the game are really basic one which shouldn't change at all.

Sometimes when I'm driving along the game just freezes completely and I can still hear the sound and the wheel just turns on its own. I'm not certain but it's either this plugin or the game itself. I've switched from nvidia to AMD and the problem is still there so I rule out drivers. Can anyone else confirm? It also happens randomly so it's not easy to reproduce. Are there ways of debugging this?

Well no, but you are not alone, it happened several times to me too. However always blamed the game, but maybe it's a plugin. If you find it reproducable please let me know, until then I sadly can't do anything about it.

I have had instances where the game froze with sound still running, but turned out to be a RAM overclock issue (even though it's an MB approved DOCP profile).

Since running at default, haven't had any problems with game or plugin.

@50keda any plans on other plugins for Linux? Maybe the Smooth Interior Camera?

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad it's not just me. I'll do some investigations and see if I can find anything out.
