[Event] WoTr rewards, ATS, and Steam offline mode [NOT A BUG]

I recently noticed this with the river channel background reward for ATS on WoTr, and it still holds true unfortunately at least for me.

When I'm in offline mode on steam, I cannot access the river channel [or the current event rewards] in ATS when I'm playing offline. Why is this? Is there a specific setting to rectify this problem or is it intended?

Considering the same current event rewards for ets2 work just fine in offline mode, then there is something that is being weird, and I'm not sure what it is.

Just saying basically; What is it about ATS that I have to be online in order to use the WoTR rewards versus ets2 where I can play offline just fine with the same rewards from this latest event without issues? There seems to a be bug here that needs addressing or some setting that needs to be made known in order so said setting, if it is on the player end, can be changed.

Next, I'll be delving the wotr in the game to try to figure out this issue I'm having.

I just tried it (ATS, Steam offline mode) and I have all the rewards available, so there may be some issue on your end, although I am not really sure what issue it may be. If you provide game.log from ATS, it could help - more info here.

I can confirm the same issue.

When starting in offline mode I get this:

I click continue, but in game there is no WoTr/Steam inventory items.

@Morrelo I've PM'd you my game log I'm about to head out so no time for a QA report.

I just managed to reproduce it, but it happens in both ATS and ETS2, which is contrary to his statement.

Ok, here comes the conclusion - Steam inventory content is not (and should not be) available during Steam offline mode. What happened to you was that you loaded the content and then switched to offline mode, so the content remained in the cache (this applies to both ATS and ETS2 as the games share the same source code).
