How are you doing the math and saying we can't get all states until 2040?

Now way it will take 18 years to finish the US. More than a 1/3 will be done this year.. That's way off. Truck wise, 2 a year is actually good. It could be 0-1. Now that is horrible. Considering how long it takes to build a quality truck and with the lower capacity on trucks, 2 trucks is good progress. There are also ETS2 trucks to think about.

The time estimation arguments are always on the assumption that the team’s size would never grow. Pretty sure that won’t be the case, especially with the Vehicles team. Last year alone we got 5 truck related upgrades, so there should be at least four small groups. So two trucks per game per year is a reasonable estimation. This number will only go up in the future. Final approval might effectively delay the release but the finished models will be released at some point. So one year we might get one truck, next year three.

Our ultimate goal is obviously to get as much trucks as possible, the diversification of truck options, especially from a single manufacturer. You can't just say "ah, (the ingame) Western Star is only for vocational" or whatnot, as every individual manufacturers (we've got in-game) so far have done all specs and types of trucks, so the reasoning of (not allowing) 3 International trucks back-to-back for fear of being favouritist or options getting boring are not valid at all, any truck is better than not getting them, or even rejecting them.
agree, any new truck we can have is a good thing since it means more variety, and ultimately, that's what the game needs, the bigger the choice of trucks in game the better, independentely of which truck it is

Wouldn't it be nice to have the 9900i as an ATS 6th anniversary gift?

It does not make much sense to still have the Older generation Cascadia as an option in the poll, its highly unlikely we'll get the truck at this point. Am I missing something? ( was there anything that hinted otherwise?)

The Cascadia is just the wishful thinking option. I'm not saying it will never be added to the game, but I don't think that at this moment in time there's any reason to expect it in the coming years.
