I don't understand all euphoria we already have two identical trucks, third with a different hood. If was classic I would happy.

Well, to each its own. I’m not a fan of Cascadia because it’s too plasticky inside but I like the WS trim from 49x, however I also don’t like 49x because its chassis is long as an aircraft carrier, so 57x might fit me the best. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Regarding chassis, i believe it was said that SCS either chose the longest possible one themselves(?) or that the manufacturers purposely gave them that spec. But i believe 57x will follow the length/size of the Cascadia.

And 57x will have a lot more of the love/hate relationship with the community, also partly a reason why i'm hoping that they'll throw the 5700xe into the package as well, although doing so may actually mean two trucks at once, as opposed to just one, even if its a family upgrade. But hey, the more the merrier right?

The more the merrier? Not exactly: I don't like aero trucks, so personally I don't care if we got 20+ aero trucks. I'm looking for older, non-aero trucks. And for cabover trucks, like Kenworth K100 / K200, Peterbilt 362, etc.

Well I'm opposite and love aerodynamic trucks. But that doesn't mean I'm getting excited about having classic trucks. 9900I is my currently favorite truck tho. The thing that I don't like is same thing that @jcpinho said. With 57X we will have 3 same thing with different hood . I can understand that we have same thing with same brands but 2 brands has same thing is just not looking right. But if we have 5700, 4900 and 122SD it'll be a different story. As soon as it's balance between classic and aerodynamic it's OK to have aerodynamic or classic trucks.

The 5700 won't be wiped off North American road no time soon. ATS can really use the new VNL, 5700 and yes the old Cascadia if its to reflect current day North American roads. Those 3 are the most common here that are not in the game at this time. The new Cascadia has been out for quite awhile, yet, the old Cascadia still outnumbers all the other truck models on the road. None of us are sure what happened with Daimler on that one, or if its all SCS. Honestly, I still think SCS themselves are the ones that scrapped it after what went down with the old VNL. I seriously wish Daimler on the same level with SCS back in 2016 as they are today. The old Cascadia is a big miss to the game.

I agree that the 4900, 5700 and 122SD from Daimler would be spicy. That is 3 totally different truck that we don't have in the game. The 4900 is 389/W900-ish but at least it can be CAD referenced. A lot more people would be drawn in with those 3 models.

^If that proves true, yes, lol. We need more manufacturers like this if SCS won't tell us anything, lmao. We all like hype when it comes to trucks but if that guy was talking about anything other than a new truck, we'd all be butt sore, lol.

if all these hints are true and we have the "57x" this year i would bet the order of new trucks will be the 57x this year, vnl probably at the end of 2022 or beginning of 2023 followed by pinnacle in 2023, because 57x we only will have it this year if the release of the truck in real life will be in the game which is very probable at the moment, vnl is the last of the sound blog where they hint the 9900i/lt/..., so it should be the next one following the 57x if that really happens this year and then pinnacle that we recieved hints when they were now in canada such like with the vnl

edit: but i think it is highly likely that this hint is for the 57x, ws doesn't have a more aero truck since they canceled the 5700 that was last here, so will have to release the 57x as soon as possible, besides, more pictures of the truck start to apear with less camo, so by the timing it's highly likely, but until more hint, we can't take it as certain
trucks in ATS: 2018 Anthem, 2023 vnl, 5700xe, 9900i Eagle, 5x w900, 57x, 49x, 2019 Cascadia, 389 and t680 signature edition

trucks in ETS2: 2022 xf, fh16, r730, stralis hy-way, magnum, old actros, old fh16, old xf and old stralis

If 57x will be announced during the summer, I can bet it will arrive in game one day later just like 49x.
