^The 57x is an OTR model so if the reference to coming in with lumber as in logging roads, that's not the best image to present the truck. A non off roading load suites it better.

Not really, the 49X and 57X are supposedly different purpose trucks, so i doubt a 57X pulling logs would look awesome, or maybe that's subjective and hence just my opinion (the latter part, not former).

@TheAmir259 you are pretty much right on that one

The 5700XE and 57X are made for linehaul, they could be considered to be basically the Western Star equivalent to the Freightliner Cascadia, while the 49X and 4900 are mostly vocational trucks, with their freightliner equivalent being the 122SD/coronado

Kenworth T680=Peterbilt 579=Freightna Cascadia=International LT=Western Star 5700XE=MACK Anthem, Kenworth W900/T800/T880=Peterbilt 389/567=International Lone Star/HX520 = Freightliner 122SD/Coronado = Western Star 4900/49X, I think it should be like this
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.

With that classification that you have mentioned, do you mean the market segment in which each type of truck competes?
I guess the Volvo VNL is in the same market segment as the Mack Anthem and company.

About the DTNA thing and based on the comments on SCS Instagram videos. With the 49X, they achieved something that today costs A LOT for companies. This is: trending.

Positioning a new product, with a hashtag, across Twitter, IG, FB, YT and now, Tiktok with Twitch is really complicated and expensive.

So, seeing how the WS49X went so far -and then, the Cascadia-, I see what DTNA pretends to do with ATS. It's a new marketing tool to promote new products and also, position them in the web.

I really think the 57X will go the same way like the 49X. But, I think now with a better relationship and more water running under the bridge, I think it will be released at the same time as it is in reality. Or maybe before... remember what Renault did with the T Evolution.

Yes, and MACK Pinnacle is the same as Western Star 49X/4900, Freightliner 122SD/Coronado, Kenworth W900/T800/T880/W990, Peterbilt 389/567, International HX520/Lone Star of

5700s have been a common sight in the logging industry for years, particularly in Canada. As I expect will also be the case with the 57X, the 5700 can be built or modified to be without side skirts, along with adding headache racks, smaller low roof sleepers, and more vocational style front bumpers for higher ground clearance, making them great flatbed or logging trucks for places with long highway hauls in their supply chain. I've even seen the full sleeper variant pulling logs in the PNW.

Hell you can specialize a Cascadia for logging too, it's mostly about cost, style, and what you can get your hands on quickly when it comes to getting trucks for some applications rather than what their target market is when they're being designed.

Any truck that is remotely popular for linehaul will be found in basically every industry you can think of that uses semis simply because they're the most common trucks you can find on the used market. It's a lot easier and cheaper to ruggedize a used 5700 or Cascadia than to buy a new 49X or HX.

^I think you meant the 4900 has been in Canada for years. The 5700 isn't a logging tractor really. It came out in 2015 and got
X-ed already.
