Well, hopefully in the future there will be as many vehicle choices in American Truck Simulator as Euro Truck Simulator 2
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.

Would be nice but don't hold your breath. There are definitely tons of options though.

Agreed. It will for sure. But it'll take time. Currently we have 10 trucks and 11th confirmed. It's like a dream to me already. Because not long ago we had 5 trucks and future was looking grim.

Ikr. Pavel tried doing it himself and he admitted that was the wrong move. He didn't have the proper time ir commitment it needed. Glad he got specific people to take over. Oscar is their second person in that role and he is doing great.

Hope to drive these trucks made by the scs vehicle team in the next few years: Kenworth T800/T880/W990, Volvo VNL860, Freightliner 122SD, International HX, next-gen Kenworth T680, next-gen Peterbilt 389/579, Western Star 4700/4900/5700XE, MACK Pinnacle.

Seeing the naming, I think the next flagship Peterbilt will be numbered 399. I'm more curious if the next one will be 409, or if they'll go down to 309....
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

Look, you are constantly writing this over and over again. But I'll tell you sth. T800/T880 most likely couldn't make it. Once I asked Oscar in this topic about 4700. He says highway trucks are their main target which means we can't see 4700 soon. Maybe HX can do it because it's easy to implement in game and International trucks looks like happy to see their models in game.

About 122SD, it'll come probably but not soon.

Currently VNL, Pinnacle another Cascadia "57X" , T680 next gen, New 579, W990 and maybe new 389 could come in game with priority.

If something bonus happens I'm expecting HX, 5700, 4900, 122SD or Old Cascadia could come. But the rest... I'm not sure about it.

I wouldn't give up on T800/T880 yet if they are still being sold and are also highway used. the WS 4700, not too sure.. if it had a larger config sleeper cab maybe it has a chance.

Yeah I wouldn't rule out the T880 either. The HX is likely because its half way done. The one thing that SCS won't do, is deny the manufacturer for a truck they wish to be in the game. SCS really can't say no. Do that and you now compromise things when there is a truck that SCS wants to actually get in the game. The manufacturers technically don't need SCS but SCS needs the manufacturers. So saying no to the manufacturers is not a good thing if they come knocking on your door. Increase the vehicle team capacity and keep'em rolling. I am sure SCS is backlogged with trucks but low capacity and time to build the trucks is the bottle next. I wouldn't be surprised if SCS has at least half a dozen trucks or more lined up right now between both games.
