Next ATS truck speculation

So, does the vehicle team only work on trucks or do they work on other things like trailers, AI vehicles as well. Because if they do work on all those other things as well then the vehicle team is already doing a lot of work as we just got new ownable trailers, new AI vehicles as well and from the looks of it, more are to come. Also, new trucks may be ready but not coming right now as the developers may have a certain release time in mind or a specific update version.

Well, at least something is moving in the right direction, that truck is so long overdue....

Okay, at least now we can relax and assume that the VNL is for 2023. I'm incredibly happy to get a fair competitor to the Cascadia.

I guess some ETS2 trucks are in the pipeline too if we are about to take the 'next project' literally, but more than that I think the chances of 5700XE are also increased.

So now it's a matter of when and not if, I'm looking forward for the VNL, hopefully the "Europen Volvo Trucks facility" gives them the same opportunity!

Ok a couple of things from the photo and a video.
1) The day cab has a collapsible spoiler. I wonder if that is a feature we will get with the new trucks (would be nice to have)
2) The 860 (?) cab has the xCeed package (https://www.volvotrucks.us/news-and-sto ... d-vnl-860/) does that mean we will get turbo compounding engines from SCS?
3) The 860 is also equipped with the Globetrotter package that has all the latest bells and whistles regarding comfort and safety.

Nice, super excited for that. On one hand I like that they've confirmed that they're working on it, on the other hand I hope they're prepared to hear "when is the new VNL coming?" every day until it's released

The vehicle team works on everything with wheels (trucks, trailers, AI) and cargo for both games (ETS2/ATS), they are up to their necks with a lot of work to get done, anyone who thinks they are "lazy" is wrong on so many levels.

Actually on #3, the 760 have the Globetrotter package, the 860 have the Globetrotter XL package instead

For the 2 other points, the #2 would be really nice, while #1 would be interesting (especially if they add the option to actually adjust it in-game like we can with some trailer options)
