I am still against the rework until we have the enough capacity. Lacking of capacity we are under threat lose 5700 and 4900 just like old Cascadia, old Pinnacle and the rest.

Flight50: Three is not a lot if you ask me. We know that there are four truck project teams with one of them dedicated to ATS, so even by averaging its two teams per game. They should upsize to catch up with the current roster anyway.

I must have totally missed the 4. Can you point me to a reference? Last I knew of there was only 3. One for each team and one shared. That is truck only teams though. There are other branches for the vehicle team.

I don't know if anyone noticed this or how widespread it is, or even if it's relevant...but I was out cruising today trying out my new Lode King grain hoppers. Making a delivery to Gillette, WY. There's a Freightliner dealer there with 4 trucks sat in front of it, covered in sheets. This leads me to believe something will be coming from Freightliner, possibly.

One of SiSl's interviews to Simulasyonturk channel, he mentioned they were working on four trucks at that time (including facelifts). The facelift model we got had noticeable changes so it could be presumed to be done by a separate team.

Sigh... not THIS again, this has been discussed to no end on this specific tread, those trucks DON'T mean anything... Is just a useless asset that has been there since the Oregon DLC...

If any dev is reading this thread, please remove those models and put some Cascadias instead.

With regards to DLC tuning for American trucks. As far as I understand, OEM tuning does not exist, but there are a huge number of companies that produce tuning.
This means that the SCS will need to obtain a license from a separate tuning manufacturer, but will the truck manufacturers agree to this?

I agree with this. No reason to have those covered up imho. Especially with the Cascadia's being revealed to the game. Iirc, those tarped trucks are T680s anyways. A simple swap out would work. The issue though, any truck beyond the first 5 are much higher poly count and they are not even at truck stops. So until all ATS trucks are on truck stops, I don't see SCS doing a swap anytime soon. I hope one of 2 things happen. 1) I really hope the engine update allows for all trucks to be used on truck stops or 2) make LOD mods for truck stops. The AI version are not low enough quality apparently. The lack of variety at trucks stops is very odd feeling. I wonder if SCS only allows senior to make truck stop models. If that is the case, they are tied up for years on new trucks.

I am more concerned about whether Daimler North America will give Freightliner 122SD to scs software to present it into the American truck simulation, Freightliner 122SD can be used as a logging porter like Western Star 49X/4900, and it can also be used as a heavy equipment porter.
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.
