Next ATS truck speculation

The new 579 would be a huge win for the Texas dlc. That would almost 100% confirm the Peterbilt plant coming. Great reason to haul new NG 579's. If negotiations for the new 579 takes place, I can't see the factory left out.

That plant covers both Paccar plants. Paccar was the first in and it would be sweet for Paccar to be first at both their factories as well. Although I like the looks of the NG T680 a lot more, for Texas, it makes sense. But if not 2022, then we have time in the future. But if it doesn't come in the next 3 years, that's gonna say a lot about where Paccar stands with SCS now.

Just gonna leave these two items in here.

The NextGen 579 and T680 may not have been a next-day launch like the NG DAF but put some pieces together and things start to add up. I could be wrong and we may get yet another Daimler for ATS or another International , but Paccar is definitely a player here, I think.

I also thought it mean nothing for a long time... No one knows tho, that may have been the start of their cooperation and it's been over a year, Oscar said truckS (Plural) are coming... Things could take a turn for the good and we may finally get some really good looking trucks in ATS.

Yeah that was a year ago and worse case, SCS got licenses for the NG's and not working them yet or very very beginning stages in which not worth mentioning. Its disappointing to see Paccar drop off since 2016 though. New stuff from them puts them right back in the mix of new things. Plus the 389X could also be in the picture at some point. That may finally trigger the W990 then.

By the many posts complaining about the same thing, I think WS discontinued it (have not verified if for real, maybe it was the 48" idk, would like both if avail). Unfortunate as I have a very specific fleet layout that requires that and I would like to include the 57x but can't. Made a new profile to play with it though.

I believe the 60" is marked as unavailable iirc. Its related to supply shortages. There was a conversation about it not to long ago.

The 48" is the one that's not available, it's still in the game files but not in game, i expect them to maybe make the 60" cab for it at some point.
