I'm also wondering. How it is awarded Editors Pick? Probably as you have written yourself that it is a lottery.

I stopped uploading to WoT some time ago, and the only reason is Editors Pick, it`s a joke and usually it features vanilla pics that are...well nothing extraordinary definitely not something that anyone would pick. It seems to me that some dude in SCS is tasked with picking those pics and he usually does that without any consideration and probably 5 mins till his shift ends as he`s busy with proper stuff that he is actually assessed on

that said I still managed 17 EP`s

I dont do 3d I couldn`t even open Blender, I`m here to upload pics and thats it my work is done with Notepad++ and PaintNET everyone can do that, and definitely work like that doesn`t deserve to be "shared" I`m not a modder, you got many more EP`s than I do. I`m not saying someone doesn`t deserve them but they shouldn`t be probably called Editors Pick. SCS doesn`t listen to hardcore fans, people that made them even survive before they got on Steam, the only and completely free way for them to say thanks, if they dont want to listen to our suggestions, would have been to take WoT seriously and award their work, especially the modders who sell the game for them, but they dont give a s&#t instead they prefer to get as many vanilla gamers as they can and flog them their DLC`s
