[REL] Chereau v1.0 [1.43]

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

so by your timeframe next update somewhere around 1.48 , after ductape and bandaids lost their stickyness again ??
Why don't you just sit and try it by yourself then? You think that making mods compatible with every ETS2 update consumes a little amount of time? Then you are wrong.
MDModder said than new model is under creation, and this update was to shut your mouth closed, because you got problem with seeing in mods manager version which does not follow current game version.

Your shouting, anger and arogancy is the reason so many modders don't release their stuff or make it as a paid mod. Because some people thinks that they will make everything they want.

I couldn't agree more! @SanJose [PL]

@seth_haveron You should really show more respect for mod authors. Maybe you don't intend to be so harsh, but you should reconsider your words.

Thanks for the update @MDModder but with almost every truck the trailer sits too close
to the cabin and/or the trailer chassis goes through the rear bumper. I had tested your
old 1.32 version and there was a better trailer position.

@MDModder

Thanks for the update, however as @Navix has said, the trailer is too close to the cab, with a 6x2 DAF 105 or Scania the chassis is too close, with some of the 4x2 chassis it is too close to the cabin. and the long tail of the MAN 6x2 mans it cant even be used with that chassis - can you move the kingpin towards the front of the trailer in a future update please

Kingpin should be around 1.6 meters from the front wall of the trailer and there should be a minimum clearance of 2.3 meters from the kingpin to the front of the landing gear.

@LoaderSaints the landing gear is not the problem but the chassis just ahead of the legs and the 5th wheel location.

If you have a 6x2 DAF for example, your frame is clipping into the chassis and would rip your mudflaps right off, and if you have a MAN 6x2 your chassis would actually be damaged the moment you hitch up.

I just posted what the measurements should be according to ISO standards so that the trailer can be towed using any ISO compatible tractor (be it 2 or 3 axle). ;)

However I hope @MDModder can fix this quickly if it is not too much work.

So what are the trailer measurements of the model based on the same parameters? His ex SCS SCHMITZ universal doesn't have any issues
