No. I am using the retarder to control the engine brake behaviour.

Hello Galimim,

Could you advise if you would ever consider to make the mod compatible with Kriechbaum sound mod, please?

I tried to link the mods myself but I’m stuck. I found via other post above and tried manually to edit the file. I have unzipped and zipped it back. After zipping it back and placing it in the mod folder, I can see the mod there but when selecting the engines… the mod (or the engines) are not visible. Perhaps someone could help me? Guide me?

Maybe Galimim could take a look? I’m sure it would take you fraction of time. I do enjoy all your revision mods that are compatible with the sounds mod.

1) Open the mod and go to the engines you wish to change in "\def\vehicle\truck\*TRUCK YOU ARE ADJUSTING THE SOUND FOR*\engine"
2) Locate the sound data line that looks like "sound: "@include *SOUND NAME*.sui"
3) Change the *SOUND NAME* to what the sound modder named his sound sui file.
4) Save and repack the mod
5) Make sure the drivetrain mod loads after the sound mod!

Many thanks for quick reply, I’ll try it in few seconds. Can you tell me how do I “repack” the mod? I tried to save as the zip and I saw the mod in the list but not visible in the engine list.

EDIT:

For some reason I have issues when unpacking and repacking it. However, I changed the mod while it’s still packed and surprisingly… it works.
