Re: xXCARL1992Xx Screens & Blender work
i cant do much, i dont have the patience to fix a UV that is so messed up and complex by hand and i dont know how to unwrap it right, the plastic one isnt the problem also, but the painted one, also Eugene is the one who has to make the models, this is also out of my expertise
back in a rigid after some time, the drive was a challenge

I've been looking at the Scania bumper and did a first unwrap, but wasn't totally pleased with the result. I'll do another try some day tho...
It takes a lot of trial and error, most error i guess

Re: xXCARL1992Xx Screens & Blender work
thats why i only did plastic, no complex unwrap, what you can try is data transfer the UV map from the standard medium bumper onto it but you have to manually fix the UV mapping then

Re: xXCARL1992Xx Screens & Blender work
you use mostly plain color, so i dont see a real need to unwrap it SCS style, i did the same at the end because me using a fancy paintjob is rare
i should stop working on it with the Renault DLC around the corner

also, looks like the 3900mm 6x2/4 chassis has no sideskirt option from Renault, so no sideskirts for me also

I just thought I'll do it properly, both as training my skills and help out Eugene. If he ever want to make it usable in his mod.
Re: xXCARL1992Xx Screens & Blender work
Well, Carl sent me his version of unwraped plastic bumper, and i'm working on improving the UV manually. It's a slow process, but one day i'll finish it
And then i'll have to do it 2 more times for low and high versions
