I know.
It was related to the sentence that nothing can beat german engineering. I think that Volvo is better!

Oh! Yes, I agree with the opinion that Swedish vehicles are better than German vehicles.

I have noticed that SCS seems to put more work into Scania. Not sure why, and I personally don't like it, but it may have something to do with licensing or some such.
In terms of European trucks, I don't really like any of them (they all look too... much like a box). However, I prefer Volvo just for the style. I have never been any trucks other than Freightliner, but from what I have seen in videos and pictures, Volvos, from both areas, just look better and more comfortable to me.

From the available evidence, it looks like it's not really SCS giving Scania special treatment so much as the opposite - someone with a *serious* amount of pull at Scania really likes the idea of having all their shiny trucks on display in a simulator game. Serious pull to the point where they can get the licensing department to play softball, and direct company resources towards helping SCS get the best possible depiction of their trucks.

Compare that with Renault, MAN and Volvo whose new trucks spent years waiting for formal approval to get introduced in the game (and the Renault and MAN are still not in the game), Daimler who filed a lawsuit against SCS for daring to use an ersatz logo on their truck because they were being glacially slow responding to licensing inquiries...

That's kinda what I had figured; a licensing thing.
If Scania wants SCS to show off all their stuff, great. I won't complain about a cooperative manufacturer. I wish they were all like that.
I just wish there was a bit more to the rest, especially for the trucks in ATS.
ATS has very few trucks due to the whole licensing issue. Because of the lack of trucks, I feel like ATS is in more of a desperate need of things like cabin accessories and tuning option. There are zero of the first (aside from Event rewards) and there is only a wheel and steering wheel pack available. I wish some of those trucks had more accessory options and customizations.
I assume that is also a licensing issue as well, as some manufactures would rather not see their trucks with all of these "strange" things that "shouldn't belong" on them or something.

Either way, the more content, the better, regardless which brand it is from. I don't mean to complain, just pointing out what I have noticed.

sorry but ats will never be as good as ets2, ats is a waste of time the map is cool, but these trucks are so ugly in my opinion and are american only so it's not worldwive like euro trucks, scs would have won more money and ppl by taking out the euro coach simulator, if you compare the ATS community and the ETS you will see a huge difference.

Scania Headquarters Södertälje, Sweden and for more information just check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scania_AB

Most of the real life truckers love Scania for decades because of their V8 engines, so many tests has proven that Scania isn't the best and ergonomic reliable truck there is, there a lot's of real life truckers who swear by the Volvo brand or even by the Iveco brand.

no they wouldnt have, it is a DLC for ETS2 and the part of the community wanting coaches is small, and the percentage of the owners of ETS2 wanting coaches is even smaller, ATS brought in,and will bring in, more money then ECS ever would have
