Re: Wyoming pre-research tips
Medicine Bow is not a National Park, it's a National Forest. There's a huge difference. And for the purposes of ATS, some of those differences are very important. Some people have mentioned Yosemite and Yellowstone, which are National Parks and as such have many restrictions on driving commercial vehicles. Such as you can not drive through National Parks when using a truck for what it was made for, hauling trailers and cargo. But drop the trailer and you can drive where ever you like in them. National Forests on the other hand, are open to commercial vehicles and have no such restrictions, as are all other National Park Service units besides National Parks. That means you can drive in National Monuments, Recreation Areas, Historical Parks and Battlefields.Yoghurt! wrote: 12 Nov 2018 19:12 A place like Medicine Bow national park could also be a nice place to include...
IF I had ATS I would like to see places like Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in the game. But considering that there are no Redwoods in or near Eureka (as I have seen in videos), something that contributes to making Eureka what it is, I don't think that they should be unless they're done right.
Attention Boy: I got your PM and tried to reply but you have PMs blocked. Unblock them and send me another PM. 8/9/2025

Interesting way to show the imformation: written on a map like that.
I like it.
I would suggest either using bigger fonts, or providing a link to a larger size of the image (I can't read hardly anything in any of the images). To provide a link, once the image is posted into imgur, click on "Original" image, then select "direct link". Here, put the url tag with that direct link, then go back to imgur and select "large thumbnail" and "direct link" and put it inside the img tags between the url tags, like so:
