@Shir: you might want to check the availability of that video, I tried clicking it and it said not available.

Anyway, The other Major Airport NOT on the west side of the state is Spokane International Airport.

The airport itself is in that triangle between Fairchild AFB and Geiger Heights. Also, a new Amazon warehouse is being built just west of the airport, that should be done this summer I think or so.

Yep, Spokane International, Fairchild AFB, and Felts Field. I only mentioned the airports in Seattle because SCS usually only includes the biggest and most busiest airport in the state they are doing for a map DLC, like Sky Harbor Phoenix International for Arizona, Albuquerque International for New Mexico, and Portland International for Oregon. Of course every state has much more than 1 major airport but SCS only adds the biggest ones in the largest city. However recently SCS has been adding more airports as scenery, such as McNary Airfield in Salem/Albany, and there's another airport in Ontario. Not to mention the few crop-dusting airfields in NorCal, and Las Vegas/McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

But Spokane is pretty big and Spokane International is a pretty big hub for cargo ops, so it could definitely make it into ATS as another deliverable airport.

Washington State's Major Airports [Part 2] and a New Prefab Idea

This post is kind of elaborating on another major airport in WA state, as Izmaragon pointed out, which is Spokane International Airport on the very east side of the state.

[ external image ]

Spokane International Airport (KGEG) basic info:

Prime Industry for ATS: Air Freight/Air Logistics

Possible Company Names for this Depot:
  • PostEd Express (FedEx)
  • UDS Air Cargo (UPS)
  • Cascade Air Cargo
  • Spokane Cargo Center
  • PNW Air Freight
  • Northwest Air Freight
  • Pacific Northwest Air Freight
  • Rocky Mountain Air Cargo
  • GEG Air Cargo
Spokane International is probably the biggest airport on the east side of the state, other than the airports in Yakima and Pasco/Tri-Cities, but it's a fairly large airport that's busy with cargo/freight operations with FedEx and UPS having large warehouses and distribution centers on the airport. So that would make 2 cargo centers to be added into ATS, and let me just say, the UPS center is pretty darn big with LOTS of loading docks for semi trucks.

In regards to Yakima and Tri-Cities, I won't touch on the airports there as I'm sure SCS has already completed those areas (after all we saw a teaser all the way back from spring of 2018 showing Yakima, WA), so it's kind of mute to give any suggestions for that particularly region of WA.

Also I have a prefab idea/suggestion that would be pretty neat for smaller airports in the game; A small air cargo terminal that's usually found at smaller secondary airports. It's usually FedEx (or PostEd in ATS) that has terminals like this at smaller airports and even large airports sometimes.

Here is some inspiration from the FedEx terminals at Yakima Air Terminal/McAllister Field and at Bellingham International Airport.

Sorry Shir, but Izmaragon and joschac2 are right. The video is unavailable. And yes, I'm in the US. Maybe find some other video that isn't unavailable? It shouldn't be that hard to find (and no, I don't have the time to find it myself, especially if I see some, questionable thumbnails and titles).

By hitting play on this forum the video is not available. However, if you right click and open new window, it takes you to youtube and it plays right away......at least it does for me. Some video block forums from using their videos. It happened to me once.

Something semi-relevant to note: The Alaska Marine Highway begins in Bellingham, Washington. If you all ever consider doing Alaska at some point, you would be able to by-pass Canada while still remaining realistic, as a ferry from Washington to Alaska exists. The two states, economically, are very tied together.
