Special freight for our driver: A campsite gets a new kitchen and we bring the stainless steel parts with our truck. Our driver arrived at the late afternoon and the operator of the campsite comes with the information, that they can unload the parts only at the next morning. So it was time to use the campsite with a Scania R490 Streamline Working truck.. The vacationers there were very irritated to see a truck like this next to their campers.

We delivered with one of our new DAF XF animal feed from a loacl company here in the south of Bavaria to their customer near Innsbruck. After a look day our drivers hat a good Austrian Dinner in a local restaurant. Since for a few month, the agriculture transport makes a big part of daily business.

Vehicle trading has been part of the company since Winter Transporte started in 2004. We buy and sell trucks, trailer and truck parts. For our customers we offer a different services in our service garage like paintjobs, Repair Service and Modifications. Some month ago we get a order from a friend´s company - they ordered some brand new Krone WP73_LS5-CS Swap Body containers and some different new curtainsider trailer from different manufacturer. Our customer needed this order very quickly, so we bought some already completed white swap body containers from Krone, give them a fresh blue and grey paintjob and a grey curtain. After the paintjob the containers gets the final labeling and now these boxes are ready to deliver. We do the same with a nearly new Krone Curtainsider trailer. We had luck and could buy a trailer with a red chassis. So we only needed a fresh blue paintjob for the front and rearside of the truck. After labeling the first part of the order is ready to deliver.
And special transport is now aviable!

Last week it was time to pick up a new truck for our fleet. A trip to the DAF factory Eindhoven for a brand new DAF XG+, the third new DAF in the fleet (now there are 2 XG+ and 1 XF). Our Driver Jürgen gets this brand new truck and replaced his older Scania R520 Topline Streamline from 2017 with 750.000km. Jürgen is a 59 years old proud truck driver and a big Scania fan. He stay in the company for 12 years, started with a 2008 Scania R1 420 and gets in 2012 a Mercedes Actros 1851 GigaSpace. In 2017 his dream comes true and he gets Scania with the legendary Scania V8 engine. And now, 6 years later, his truck looks like new, because he love this truck. But two years ago we visited with the full crew (and Jürgen too) the truck exhibition NUFAM in Karlsruhe. He saw first time the new DAF series with the large XG+ cabin. And he loved for now this cabin variant. We asked him for a new truck and for a replaced for his Scania. We asked if he want a new Mercedes Actros, a new Scania S Super, a Volvo FH 5 series or a new DAF Series truck. And he choosed the DAF XG+. We ordered at August last years this truck from our local DAF Dealer Kling Nutzfahrzeuge Hittistetten and gets now this beauty. And because its Jürgen last truck before pension he gets a new a beauty truck with a nice look. Stay patient.

We visited yesterday our DAF dealer for a pre-view of our new XF+ truck. This new DAF was the first new truck with a blue-painted chassis of my fleet. It is for now a test - only some of Krone ProfiLiner trailer, which we bought second-hand of the Krone demo fleet, had a blue painted chassis. So this new DAF match with the chassis perfect to this Krone ProfiLiner trailers. Some of the truck parts gets a new paint look - for example our dealer added painted DAF aero paket parts for the sideskirts, painted rearfenders, a painted Sunshild and some other DAF exklusiv dark parts. With a fresh highbar this new DAF is the first truck of the fleet with LED Lightbars from Lazer. And the two new air horns sounds great. We ordered a high interieur line with leather seats and a dark interieur look.
Next week this truck this truck will be ready for first use. First he need his registration, his toll collect box and his DKV toll box for some different countrys of Europe. Maybe we can pick up this at the end of the new week. We looking forward for this truck. Our Volvo truck dealer send us mail - our new Volvo FH 460 Globetrotter 6x2 with swap body chassis is new arrived and will be ready for pickup soon. We need for our international transport more and more the latest Euro 6d temp trucks - our older Euro 5 and Euro 6 trucks will be used more and more only here in Germany. So we want to add in the near future some new Mercedes Actros 5, Volvo FH 5, DAF XF/XG/XG+ and Scania NextGen S & R. This 4 brands will be in near future our main brands of the Winter-fleet.
