Re: Washington discussion
If SCS ever revisits Washington for a refresh, something they should definitely include is the new light rail connection across the floating bridge which just opened recently (March 28th)

Re: Washington discussion
The portion of the bridge the rain runs on used to be the reversible express lanes, which SCS already has in game. I posted about this on the WA research thread a while ago. Would LOVE to see this added in. It's such a cool achievement and super unique as the only rail line on a floating bridge in the world!

Re: Washington discussion
Was going to post this in the basemap rebuild thread, but figured it would be better here.
I did a big roadtrip across Washington this memorial day weekend, and I'd really like to see some of the smaller towns of OR and WA rebuilt over refreshed. Longview, for instance, has such massive lumber yards and paper mills. Let's get those new dynamic depots added there and make them feel sprawling! Make the Grand Coulee Dam into an Elegrid depot. Rock Port (or a western replacement) along the Columbia in the Tri-Cities and build out the Pasco railyard. Apple Orchards and Hop Farms in Wenatchee and Yakima. Omak/Okanogan could use fleshing out. With road trip, put in Colville - Sandpoint route and maybe give us US 195 through the Palouse, which was such an unexpectedly spectacular drive. I'm in max Washington geek mode now and it's really making me see the extra potential an already great DLC could have with the tools SCS has now haha. But that's so far off, I'm sure.

Wow that is a really interesting landscape! Considering how well the Sandhills turned out in the Nebraska DLC I bet they would be able to do it justice.

Re: Washington discussion
Per ads678's Missing Roads, for Washington, these would be awesome adds and complete the map much better. I still can't figure out why the Idaho team didn't care to connect up WA-20 to US-2. All other map leads made meaningful connections to the previous dlc. The Idaho team simply didn't maximize the connections that's disappointing. Going from Bellingham/Everett to Sandpoint, we literally have to go South once in Colville to Spokane thru Coeur d' Alene just to go North again. This is without the detour feature. Hopefully a refresh would close the gaps up.

Getting the I-5 drawbridge lengthened and redone will be awesome too, the current version in game is…pitiful to say the least.
Also if they can make the I-90 pass a bit more imposing like they did with Truckee, I’d love that too

Is there any room to get the I-5 drawbridge lengthened?

If the state is redone, I’m sure there’s room to be found. As it is now, no.
