Re: Add additional route-95, route-24 and route-12 to scs software utah dlc?

We have the Utah thread yes but one can’t state enough after US-14 is in the game now if there is a map that needs more road connections it’s Utah. It should have never released the way it is now.

Oh and if you touch Utah one day again SCS please change the background pano of SLC. It’s totally off.

I think the route in the Forrest Gump movie also did not included, or I may missed it.

The ones who did Grant Tetons or Mountains in Washington could do SLC mountains. SCS proved that they have enough capacity to do such beautiful mountains with WA,CO,WY.

US-6 between Delta and Provo would require some changes in Provo design and I doubt SCS would even bother to consider it. The other one worth trying though.

We got US-14 and Cody because it was the latest and greatest dlc and the map lead reads this forum. He cared enough on the perception of his first project and added 2 critical parts. If we get the hole in Utah filled, it will be from the reworks team as the lead there was the one in charge of Utah and Idaho. Both has more issues than other dlc's.

At this point, enough has been said. No point in constantly taking about this route. The word is all over the place. Many of us want this route but it's not as critical as what we got with Wyoming. Each state is missing 2-3 routes that should be in. Most are short though. Utah has the biggest distance in km's to cover.

That road was US 163 through Monument Valley. We have it in the game, but it's not as majestic; I think the buttes could use a redo.

The mountains behind Boise in the game are a better match for the mountains behind SLC. People tend to point out a photo of SLC taken from an angle so the higher, rockier mountains to the southeast of town are the backdrop, and taken at a distance with a zoom lens so the mountains appear larger. In reality, the mountains directly west of downtown are lower and more scrubby. They certainly aren't Tetons at all.

By the way, how about US 89 between Salinas and Spanish Fork? Both ends are in the game, there's room, and it could come in handy, especially for detours (that's where it's good to have highways redundant to the Interstates).

Handy maps and diagrams.

Furthermore, I consider that I-80 across Nevada must be redone next.

Nope. SLC should not be the Tetons. But they could easily be the Alps model from Austria. The pic from the Austria blog is the same scene that fits SLC. East of I-80 mountains are the ones that needs to be changed. They should be more imposing. West of I-80 which are the ones directly behind SLC's town center are correct. They just don't look good. The mountains in SLC on both sides of I-80 could paint a much much better picture but they don't.

US 89 between Salinas and Spanish Fork?
The northern end is in reality Powerhouse Rd, as I remember. Not US-89, even tho SCS named it that way.
Yeah, we could get that road, but with a fictional north end.
Sadly there is no place for Thistle.

Continuation of US-89 would be nice. They can finally get rid of the sign in Salina saying the road is “temporarily closed”, and it would make a nice alternative for the I-15 corridor.

Even if north end at US-6 would be totally fictional?
Would work for me, but I am sure there will be those that will complain.
