Executive summary: All of the trailers with all of the cargo in all of the colours

Where it came from:
Someone who may or may not have been Jazzycat produced a "double trailers in traffic" mod for both ETS2 and ATS round about v1.28 but failed to update it after SCS updated the games. These mods started out by doing something similar but using only SCS models, and have expanded on the principle "If you can haul it behind your truck it ought to appear in traffic too".

What it does

Adds drawbar double, B-double B-triple and HCT trailers in a variety of body styles in traffic
Adds more cargo in traffic from the various cargo DLCs
Adds more trailers in traffic from the various trailer DLCs
Adds trailers & cargo in traffic from the Oversize (Special Transport) DLC
Makes all single trailers with visible cargo appear in traffic with the full range of available loads
A handful of other single trailers which SCS doesn't include any more
LCV (rigid truck-dolly-trailer) combinations
More trailers in the Freight Market
Double/triple Freight Market trailers in countries outwith the SCS maps
Versions of all SCS trucks specifically for double/triple trailers
Versions of all SCS trucks specifically for oversize trailers
And the above for trucks from Jazzycat and TrafficManiac mods

Almost everything that isn't a trailer .sui file or a country-specific traffic.sii file for trailers:

KNOWN ISSUES

Some trailers can arrive before their wheels do. If you get this, open your config.cfg file - located in the same place as your game.log.txt file - in a text editor and change:

Some trailer skins - both from SCS and other modders - are not optimised for the short trailers (drawbar double rear/B-Double front), so writing and/or logos fall off one end
The trailers have an occasional tendency to tie themselves in knots, sink into the road surface or undergo rapid unscheduled disassembly. This can leave you stuck in traffic. Pro tip: do a Quick Save and reload it it. All traffic disappears!

Various issues with licence plates; they either don't appear at all or float high in the air and facing forwards above the trailers. The latter applies to the trailers in the Mr L's ETS2 Pack - Extra Trailer Traffic mod, which is why they're in a separate mod.
The rear lights of some trailers derived from owned ones are rather ineffective
Some vehicles are generating an error:

However the vehicles still appear in traffic
Rules about which countries traffic can spawn in don't appear to apply to AI-only roads so don't be surprised if you spot American trucks or double trailers on, for example, the road outside Liège airport or on bridges across motorways
There are some roads on which all rules about spawning appear to fly out of the window. Symptoms may include vehicles and trailers in countries where they aren't supposed to be, an excessive number of oversize trailers, missing number plates and missing or messed-up speed limits and traffic lights. I've encountered these in the Halaib Triangle & southern Egypt, near Budapest and in the vicinity of Tyumen to name but three. Non-scientific observation suggests that this happens mostly where map mods join and the game appears not to know which country your truck is currently supposed to be in.
There's a mod out there which messes up the cargo on logging trailers such that single, double and LCV ones carry a paltry two logs each instead of a full load, but I haven't been able to identify the offender.
Mods which add their own trailer paint jobs to SCS trailers are unlikely to play nicely with the ProMods Trailers & Company mods and will lead to double trailers with mismatched paint jobs, because the ProMods TCP has separate paint jobs for regular, B-double front and drawbar double rear trailers
The concrete mixer trailer produces an error:

but it does still appear in traffic. It doesn't do cables either. Or revolve. Bah!
The wind turbine blade in the DLC Oversize mod has an extra set of wheels half-buried in the road under the trailer, so don't look too closely at it...

This screenshot comes from a brand new profile with Jazzycat's Painted BDF Traffic Pack as the only mod installed so I can state with complete confidence that any similar vehicles you may encounter are nothing to do with any of the mods in this package.

See the description text files in the mod for the countries/regions in which the trailers appear, and how to make them appear everywhere if that's what you want.

If you are using cipinho's traffic density mod then it must go ABOVE the double trailers mod in the mod manager. The doubles MIGHT work with other traffic density mods but I haven't tried them.

You are actively encouraged to take these mods apart to see how they work and put your own trucks and trailers in it. To this end, the package will always be free and able to be unpacked without resorting to any funny business unless goalpost-moving badgers are in da 'hood.

For some reason the country restrictions don't work with this mod. I think its because of the spawn ratio line inside the def file. I tried to delete it and see if it works but it doesn't. Is there a way to make this mod work with restrictions?

the solution for this is to modify in config or console:

@Dark81Wolf - the add-on needs to go ABOVE the main mod as it adds an extra truck vehicle type to tow the new trailers.

this is a great mod, fits really well with Scandinavia and Finland. I have a reasonable performance playing with low-end hardware, cant say the same with Jazzycat traffic mods...

Btw, I would like to ask you one question. How can I tweak the HCT in Finland for less spawn? I have a feeling that they appear too often, at least for my taste. Doubles and B-doubles on the other hand are quite fine.

I'm looking through the files and i can't scratch the surface with what to do when the files are in .sui format. I dunno if using trailer_chains[] will work for these files. I edited an old Solaris76 tandem file that had 25m and it works fine because it was a simple edit.
