Try on the maximum setting and 400 scale

because you are not far enough away from it

the clipping i can confirm, i see it also and scaling doesnt matter, the model is fighting over wich surface should be displayed on the LOD model

The game is made to give effect in several ways. If you use in maximum configuration will give a much better effect or not the right is to balance

I like balanced setup
