@Flipse, @NLSTrucking You guys must read the first post a little more carefully...
2. Install the plugins:
from "Plugins" folder copy entire "bin" folder into the folder where game is installed:
...\Euro Truck Simulator 2\ or ...\American Truck Simulator\.

It should be like this (as an example):
g:\Games\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\plugins\telemetry_tedit_x64.dll

knox_xss,

First off, thank you for this awesome plugin; I really appreciate your hard work and creativity. This tachograph really adds to the experience and enhances the simulator as a training aid.

My particular issue pertained to my ATS operating through Steam. There are game files within Steam that are separate from the main game files. By following the instructions on the initial post and dropping the “bin” folder in the direct game files, the plugin would not work for me. In order for plugins to work with Steam, they must be added into the correct folder within the Steam directory. In my situation, the path is c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\american truck simulator\bin\win_x64\plugins. This is also true with other telemetry plugins I’m using for tablet and phone apps working with Steam.

Anyhow, after Flipse informed me of this, I dropped it into the Steam directory and everything came to life. All is well and I am loving it!

I wanted to reply and clarify my issue with regards to Steam.

Thanks again for all you do! Happy New Year!

Great application to simulate reality. Good job.
How do I install the warning sounds for stops, speed ...?
Thank you so much

Read "readme" file - all there. Wav-files you can take from "WAVs" folder, or make your own. Good luck! ;)

First of all thank you for creating this! It adds a lot to the realism of this simulator.

The mod works fine but I have some questions on the correct reflection of the rules for ATS.

The Defaults USA button enters the values acording to real life rules or it reflects the games defaults?

For example full day drive time is entered as 840 minutes (14h), but real life rules is 660 minutes full day drive time (11h) and 840 minutes total shift time (14h). The continuos rest time of 600 min (10h) seems fine.

1 week drive time is correct with 3600 minutes (7 days max 60h), but two weeks gets me confused, 7200 minutes. But in real life there are 10h additionally granted (8 days max 70h), so should it not be 7800 minutes?

Maybe I am also understanding it not correct?

Agree. It was so long ago... Maybe then I was referring to the work shift. :)

AFAIK, in the US there is no concept of "two weeks drive time" as in Europe, so the solution was simple: "one week" + "one week" = "two weeks" (3600 + 3600 = 7200). :D

One way or another, nothing is hard-coded in the program - everyone can put in the numbers they see fit. ;)

Thanks for this nice tool to adding a bit more realdriving simulation.
I have a question about resetting the data. I use more than one profile and want to use the simple tachograph on thiese profiles.
Currently when i switvh between the profiles the, for example, weekly driving time is not correct because both profiles have different weeks, days etc.
So, is there a way to reset the data when switching between profiles?

@AkePhoe If it were possible, I would have done it from the very beginning. And so - alas.
