as a IRL truck driver in Croatia, you should concider making some important local roads as DC1 known as Lička magistrala connecting Split via Knin, Gračac, Karlovac, and Zagreb up to the border with Slovenia, and DC2 known as Podravska magistrala from border with Slovenia trough cities of Varaždin, Đurđevac, Slatina, Našice, Osijek and Vukovar to border with Serbia.

Also DC 28 to Bjelovar and DC 43 from Bjelovar connecting to DC2 near Đurđevac, there is also DC34 from Slatina to Osijek going trough cities of Donji Miholjac and Valpovo and also connecting with Hungarian border.

These roads I have mentioned are important small roads in Croatia, also I must mention A1 from tunnel Sveti Rok to Zadar 1 exit can sometimes be closed for trucks and buses because of heavy wind known as bura, and there is a way around trough Gračac-Obrovac-Benkovac back on A1, or we can continue on DC1 from Gračac to Split.

One more important city in Croatia is Kutina, because there is placed fertilizer factory called Petrokemija, and it's important for croatian economy.

I have made map of some important roads in Croatia beside highway network

-RED - highway network
-LIGHT BLUE - DC1 from Split to Karlovac
-BLACK - way around Sveti Rok when A1 is closed
-GREEN - motorway to Križevci
-DARK BLUE - road from motorway via Bjelovar to DC2 near Đurđevac
-ORANGE - DC2 from Slovenian to Serbian border
-BROWN - road from Kutina to Virovitica (DC2)
-PINK - DC34 from Slatina to Osijek

All roads mentioned here are permited for trucks

(ENG) Hello neighbor, I think that map you posted will be more or less implemented. With the current progress and development in SCS's work, I'm not hoping that DLC will be released before the beginning of the next half of the year. It looks like SCS wasn't prepared well at all for our region.

(ENG) too bad I found this topic too late, I'm IRL truck driver, driving here in CRO, I could've been helpfull alot, I was thinking, it would be good iff they would make road from Split to Kamensko and further to Tomislavgrad in BiH, and down on the way around the Plitvice, from Licko Petrovo Selo border crossing to Bihac in BiH, I think it's border crossing Izacic

(SRB/HR) Pozdrav ekipa!

(ENG) Hi guys! I'm also from HR, and despite not being a trucker I'm very familiar with our road network and cities/villages (I love to travel a lot, and I have been all over Croatia). In WB Expansion Discussion topic I have recently provided my view on potential road network that SCS could implement in the DLC and detailly explained what they should take in consideration while doing so. The link on the said post is in my signature. All in all I'm hoping that people from SCS have seen it and that it will be of some help to them.

@scaniac Your map as I see it is very similar to mine, so I agree with everything you put in it, however I think a town of Koprivnica should be also taken in cosideration. It is the largest city and regional centre of Koprivnica-Križevci county, and what's even more important is that it contains several important industries including food (Podravka, Carlsberg), pharmaceutical industry (Belupo), wood and paper industry (Bilokalnik, Hartman), leather, metal and construction material industry. Not to far from the city is also so called ''Šoderica'' where gravel extraction plant is based.

(ENG) that's all correct, but knowingly our mentality, everyone wants to be able drive trough their own village, doesn't matter it's at middle of nowhere, and about Koprivnica, I agreed with you, I was in Koprivnica at Podravka, at Bilokalnik, at Hartman, at Carlsberg, but you have to understand ets2 map is 20x smaller, and iff they, with MAYBE Varazdin make Koprivnica, and maybe Bjelovar, it would be let's say connected with Zagreb, and in that case it's not fun

EDIT:

(ENG) I have take a look at my map, and DC2 goes exactly trough Koprivnica, and iff they will make it, it would be maybe some house, and far away some recognisable building, same as, I know, for Osijek, for example, they will make eurodom and cathedral you can see far away, altough in promods map you are able to drive beside eurodom as in real life

(ENG) Yes, that is true. There's not enough place to represent every city and village all the players come from (I'm from Zagreb though, so I don't have such problem  ), but one can't say for Koprivnica to be in that category. As a matter of fact I think when it comes to industry that it is even more important than Varaždin you mentioned. If if take all that in consideration, what can be done is to make Koprivnica as unmarked, or so called scenic city, with 2 prefabs in its place (for example Podravka and Belupo) that would fall under Varaždin.
On the other hand when it comes to Bjelovar I doubt will see it in game, because of both towns plus Virovitica it is less relevant from SCS's standpoint, and it is in really uncanny position due to it being in proximity to all of those, as well as Zagreb. I'm not even sure Varaždin gets included, but there are definitely more chances for it to be then Bjelovar.
Also I do know about Promods, because I have secondary/alternate profile which I use specifically for playing with mods, so I have been able to see their presentation of Balkan area of map and more. There's no either Varaždin, or Koprivnica, but Virovitica yes despite being less important city industrially compared to Koprivnica. If I was in SCS's position I'd go with Koprivnica before Virovitica due to that fact.

(HR) ajmo sad realno, ono sto ce bit u ets2 mapi Hrvatske su Osijek, Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar, Split i Dubrovnik, i da budemo realni, netreba vise nista ni ocekivati

(ENG) let's be real, what will be in ets2 map of Croatia is Osijek, Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar, Split i Dubrovnik, and let's be real, we don't need to expect anything more

(ENG) Alright, I mostly agree with that. It is a bare minimum that can be expected. Although inclusion of Pula is still not certain, due to the fact it is in close proximity to 3 larger and more important cities (Rijeka, Koper and Trieste). On the other hand if Pula can get in, I'm sure there's a place for Varaždin, Koprivnica and Slavonski Brod too (actually when it come to SB I believe there are greater chances we got it then Pula for example). All in all we'll see what SCS will decide sooner or later.
