I forget to mention a detail on the last post.
High speed railway lines (AVE) on Spain have not any rail crossing at the same level (obviously). But also, whenever a bridge crosses over some of those lines, there's always a big fence mounted on both sides of the bridge, to avoid anything to fall (by accident or on purpose) over the railway. It doesn't matter if the bridge is one of a highway or a rural particular path, the fence will be ever the same size. The lower part of the fence is a plate of metal to avoid gravel or similar to fall down.
All the barriers I've seen have the same look and are like this (although somewhere else could be another model, of course): https://www.google.es/maps/@41.9441139, ... 384!8i8192

Barcelona
Barcelona have two orbital roads, B-10 and B-20
Ronda Litoral = B-10 Google maps: https://www.google.es/maps/dir/41.34312 ... 485539!3e0
Ronda de Dalt = B-20

Barcelona have some restrictions for trucks, here the law from 2018 (Google Translator): https://www.fenadismerencarretera.com/b ... -camiones/
Thus, circulation is allowed in the following cases:
On roads with a traffic lane, vehicles with MMA equal to or less than 12 tons and with a length equal to or less than 10 meters. They can also do, from 23:00 to 05:00 hours, MMA vehicles equal to or less than 18 tons and of length equal to or less than 12 meters.
On roads with two or more lanes and along the Ronda Litoral, (B10) vehicles with MMA equal to or less than 18 tons and of length equal to or less than 12 meters can circulate. They can also do it, between 23 and 5 hours, vehicles with MMA equal to or less than 44 tons and of length equal to or less than 16.5 meters.
For the Ronda de Dalt, (B-20) vehicles with MMA equal to or less than 18 tons and of length equal to or less than 12 meters can circulate.
And finally, on the roads of areas with a special level of restriction, (which is the old town) and that, in addition, are of a traffic lane, vehicles can circulate provided that their MMA is equal or lower at 7.5 tons and its length is equal to or less than seven meters. On the roads included in the areas with a special restriction level (old town) and with more than one lane, the provisions of section 2 above will apply.
As for the previous restrictions, the only exception that exists is the one that remains in force in the Ronda Litoral, the special permit or authorization of movement for vehicles with MMA equal to or less than 44 tons and of length equal to or less than 16.5 meters, as long as the transport has its origin and destination among the following towns:
Barcelona (including Zona Franca and the Port), Sant Adrià del Besòs, Badalona, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Montcada i Reixac, Montgat, Tiana, Alella, Teià y el Masnou, por el lado Besòs.

Re: Spain pre-research tips
It might be an early question, but do you think Melilla, Ceuta and Gibraltar will be included? The former 2 might be too small, so could only be included as a minor port+city (like Travemünde or Kapellskär), and the latter should have an open border with Spain, but all three are quite small and contested territories. Anatolia and Cyprus are already on the map as Asia, only the absence of Africa are taunting us.

Points of interest from Algeciras to Málaga.
Algeciras / Peñón de Gibraltar
Algeciras is a city of 121,000 inhabitants. Its economy is based mainly on the communications node with Africa.
It has a seaport that is the one that supports the passage of vehicles in Operation Step of the Strait reaching 2,000,000 passengers during the summer.
In the port of Algeciras operate the Acciona Trasmediterranea, Balearia, Buquebus, Comanav, Comarit, Euroferrys, IMTC, European Maritime Lines and Nauts shipping companies that maintain numerous daily links with the cities of Gibraltar, Ceuta and Tangier.
Also for its location is number 36 in the world ranking for container traffic.
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Pue ... ntenedores
It also has a rail connection.
[ external image ]
Marbella
At the transport level Marbella has a small industrial estate and a large shopping center, apart from dealers and luxury homes.
The commercial center of La Cañada stands out for its proximity to the AP-7, several tunnels, the peak of the shell that is quite peculiar since it is seen from the road and many shops with quick access from the highway.
[ external image ]
Cala de Mijas
The A7 through Mijas has a stretch of highway with a very sharp curve that has caused many traffic accidents throughout its years.
There is currently a section radar
[ external image ]
Málaga
Malaga is the capital of the province, it is a large and very important city.
It has a Maritime Port for passengers and merchandise, short, medium and long distance railway lines, high speed, subway, International Airport, University, Technology Park, various industrial parks and various highways and motorways that connect the Costa del Sol with the rest of Nearby provinces
The highway that passes through the city center was remodeled to eliminate traffic jams with the creation of bridges and viaducts for the improvement of communications.
East direction is in the spider the Cement factory, to the west the Logistics center of Transport, to the south west the industrial estates and merca Malaga.
The Coca-Cola packaging factory, the San Miguel beer factory and the Victoria beer factory.
Your connection with Antequera through the port of Las Pedrizas is by highway or toll highway. Its connection to the east by the coastal zone was improved to support more traffic towards Almería, to the west towards Marbella there is a motorway and toll highway.

Colors of towns in Spain
South
In Andalucía, the predominant color in towns is white, that's because a few decades ago limestone was used to paint the houses, apart from reflecting the heat of sunlight with white colors.
Some examples...

This type of houses are made generally with stone/cobblestone and for the roof, with slate. The predominant color is grayish tones.

I made this post just to show you, more or less, the different types of towns that you can add as a random towns near the roads in the DLC depending on the region, like the towns you added in the Italia DLC.

Re: Spain pre-research tips
Madel, you forget to say that A3 in ETS2 should depict infinite, boring and extenuating traffic jams every single weekend in Valencia direction on Fridays and on Madrid direction on Sundays.
That's the price to pay for Valencia being the "beach of Madrid".
Jokes apart, Comunidad Valenciana (the "state" whose capital is Valencia) is also one of the biggest citric production zones on Europe, lot of fruit production related companies and exports done by truck (mostly going north through AP7 of loaded on the port). Also they have a very big tradition of using fireworks of any kind, so there should be usually loads of this cargo on that zone.
And please please please, DON'T add the infamous statue at the entrance of Castellón de la Plana airport. Don't do that favor to that man that plundered so many years the money of the administrations of that zone.
Also because is so ugly that your sales could suffer it!!

Hi!
I will try to put some information in this forum about Spain when I have some free time, I have seen that you already have some roads, signs, tolls etc ... Good job guys! I hope to contribute with some kind of relevant information. Regards!
(I'm sorry in case there is any misspelling, I'm using the Google translator). :p
