Dates Of DLC Releases
Re: Dates Of DLC Releases
We all know that one team is building Oklahoma. The second team is building Kansas. I want to ask, how did I read that there are 3-4 teams at SCS, if so, then what do the rest do?
Re: Dates Of DLC Releases
It was pretty much revealed on the 2020 Xmas stream when Jakub was talking.
Jakub revealed he is the map lead on the California rebuild
Davido was introduced as a new map lead on Wyoming. Since then Montana/Oklahoma
Simon was introduced as a new map lead for Texas/Texas 2.0
And we already knew Patrk. Washington/Colorado. High chance he's doing Kansas if Jakub on rebuilds and Simon on Texas 2.0.
Jakub did Utah/Idaho before he started rebuilding California. Simon and Davido worked on previous projects before being leads. I want to saw both where around when Washington/Oregon was in the mix. Not sure about before that. I know Patrik was part of the original 5-7 people that started ATS when those few pulled off ETS2.
So yes, 4 map leads...4 projects. 2 teams had to work Texas but now it's over....other than Texas 2.0. So either we get 2 paid maps/2 rebuild teams or we get 3 paid maps and 1 rebuild team. Could go either way. Regardless which route, the entire map gets better quality coming.

Re: Dates Of DLC Releases
Please pardon my ignorance as I've been somewhat absent around here in the past few months, but was is the Texas 2.0 project?
Re: Dates Of DLC Releases
@supersobes Its the extra parts of Texas that didn't make the map. Simon mentioned Sherman and Paris so pretty much US-82 heading towards Texarkana. Iirc, someone mentioned Greenvile Tx too from the map edioor so that I-30. More than likely there will be connections from I-30 to US-82. The map editor shows the extra content they are working on. Pavel also mentioned Texas 2.0 on the xmas stream.

Ah, thanks! More of I-30 would definitely be really cool to see in ATS.

@flight50 I watched the Christmas stream, my knowledge of English is at the level of 1-5%, could you tell me what Pavel said about Texas 2.0?
Re: Dates Of DLC Releases
He didn't say much. He just mentioned there is more work going on in Texas and that the people doing that work refers to it as Texas 2.0. He didn't give details but on one of the blogs, Simon the map lead mentioned Sherman and Paris as shown above in the snapshot. I'd have to think I-30 and US-82 connect up with Tyler and Longview better until Louisiana/Arkansas.

Thanks. Its sooo cool to see how much that list is growing across the board. Each year it grows. This thread is really turning into a great idea. Glad you did it and keep up with it.
