Just an idea. Did you go to Settings, under FaceAPI v3.2.5 and clicked on Start?SchorschiBW wrote:FaceTrackNoIR doesn't work. I use the PS3 Eye and in the FTNIR it works, but not in the game and i don't know, why. The PS3 cam will not work with Accela Filter Mk2, the initialize, then tracking and if i start the game, the cam does initialize again without results
Sorry for my english, i'm german and try to write english without translator;-)
Attaching my settings, if anyone wants to try Facetracknoir 1.70.
If it's too sensitive, go to Curves and adjust downwards on Yaw in there.
I lock most axises with Shift+Ctrl+Z and center the cockpit-view with Shift+Ctrl+C

How could you possibly see the keyboard to control the game?RainbowPee wrote:or we can use Oculus Rift...

I didn't read all the messages about this topic, but I also suggest the FreeTrack as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaMWPqyvIkE
I've been told that FreeTrack is more sensitive to the motion perception.
I have a Playstation Eye camera and it works very well here using a 3 point cap leds.

I'm trying to get FTNIR to work with the game, but unfortunately, I only get response for up and down movement. Why is this?
EDIT: OK, now the games is able to pick-up the up-down, left-right movement, but not rotating the head. It's just the camera that moves, not the head. (as in the position of the camera.)

Well I decided to buy a cheap camera (logitech C510) from ebay and I am glad I did, thanks to this thread I now have head tracking in ETS2 and saved a good £100 in the process.
It is taking a bit of getting used to though.
Edit: Thanks mamsa, those settings seem to be the best I have tried so far.
