[REL] ProMods: Canada v1.2.4 updates and discussion

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

I only get "Empty Pallets" as available cargo for every single location in Promods Canada. Not in the US. Bug or feature?

Probably a conflict with other mods

This signature virus has been spliced with the Fundementalism-B virus to create a new more contagious strain. Please look for it infecting a signature near you.

That might be a dumb suggestion but replacing IKEA by IKA Bohag could be nice to keep consistency since the map mostly uses Vanilla companies

ATS doesn't have IKA Bohag.

It is requested but not present
IIRC Promods for ETS2 changes all vanilla prefabs and vehicles from IKA to IKEA

This is the ProMods thread..its a mod. So yes, there is Ikea in this mod. They imported it from ETS2. Its vanilla ATS that doesn't have it that we keep requesting. But if you don't have this mod, then no you won't have it. If you have the mod, you'll see the Ikea parody. I believe its in Vancouver iirc.

The thing is, Promods has it named as IKEA rather than IKA Bohag, which is what confuses people I guess. It's not the only irl company in Promods Canada though.
The Canoe wood products company, Young & Wyse vineyard and Newgold gold mine are all irl companies.

^That may be the case. But for the people that follow ATS and/or this forum, its a given that IKA Bohag/IKEA is the same thing. I only speak in terms of people that follow this forum. If a person infrequently visits this forum or are newbies to it, ask questions instead of posting incorrect information. At least change it up and say I don't think or I don't know, or iirc or something along those lines.
