[REL] ProMods: Canada v1.6.2 updates and discussion | 1.59

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Things are not put into perspective until its a city you live in and drive it in the game to notice why its not there. You notice a lot is truncated just to get in enough to feel the vibe.
I grew up in a city in California with almost 100,000 people and there's zero trace of it in ATS. Like even the bay the city is located in doesn't exist.
That's what 1:20 scale mean. Not everything fits. I live in a City as part of DFW that has 250,000 and there no trace of it either. They passed right thru it on I-30. So what's your point?

Having gone up from Victoria to the Malahat Skywalk via TCH-1, I can say bricksathome absolutely nailed Goldstream Provincial Park and the viewpoint.

Even adding one scenic town would've made that stretch of highway feel far more densely populated than it actually is. Adding Duncan would've been a bad call.

No point, I was just agreeing with you and adding a point that included my own experience. Too much internet today, friend?

Gotcha. Unfortunately there will be plenty other people complaining that their city is missing. Between SCS and ProMods, there is only so much that can be done and people simply just don't get it.

No this happens every SCS update, it is getting old, still waiting for 1.56 every other needed updates have been done
It is not that important to them.

ProMods Canada 1.5.0 is coming soon! 1.5.0 brings the rest of Vancouver Island, allowing you to travel from Victoria all the way to Port Hardy.
Take a look at the Pre-Release Trailer!

You're really doing a superb job in Canada when SCS goes there, since it's almost been announced that they're almost there lol I hope you'll continue to do work for us in Canada with the PM touch ;)

Looks pretty good actually. Its been a minute since I've played on my profile that I run ProMods. With VCI all in, it just might be time to venture back into ProMods. I've wanted VCI for years and now its possible. I love the music to the trailer. I much rather prefer this type of music than what SCS puts on their trailers. I'm definitely not a fan of the music selections provided for SCS dlc trailers. Something more relaxing such as this trailer has a more interesting vibe to it.

After checking and watching the last 2 SCS videos, i.e. Missouri and Iowa, I find that they are more professional, which is normal, but above all I find that the one from Iowa is more successful and more hard-working than the one from Missouri, and more professional.

The sounds chosen overall for SCS and Promods are good from my point of view.
