In such a situation, you must pay special attention to adding templates for individual accessories to your skin. For example: if the paint element is displayed on side skirts and it shouldn't, it means that you need to add the side skirts template as an accessory to the skin.aleksah17 wrote: 06 Apr 2024 21:31 hello, I have a problem with some trucks, for example, the text or logo that is on the box, what is also on the box, is displayed on the side skirt or on the sun visor, can you help me so that this does not happen

Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
I am a noob. I was trying to find the answer by searching but wasn't lucky.
So I painted my first Truck a MAN. I am able to drive with that livery in the game. Now I want to do a paintjob for my trailer.
I used the Paintjob Packer to create the mod. I also have managed it to paint the 4x4 DDS in a color to test it in the game. It works.
But I do not find a template for them, like for the trucks. In this template pack I can't find any SCS Trailer but one special trailer. All the standard trailers are not included, or named after something else?
So I am sure I do something wrong, but after 2 days I decided to ask here

Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
Thank you very much!
The Problem was (and this is my bad) that I thought the initial post of this topic has always the latest files linked. But it is ETS-2-Mod-Templates-v1.5-game-version-1.44.zip and not like your link ETS2-Templates-v2.8-game-version-1.48.zip
So for me thos SCS Box Trailer templates were missing. Thank you very much.
And sorry for that noob question. If you are new into something, it just much to learn. I am used to painting since GTR2, and now iRacing. So I was just struggling to find the templates. Everything works now. Trailer is in game and working...

Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
Hi all, thank you so much for your patience and I apologise for my extended absence.
At the end of 2022 I dismantled my simrig to build a new one, so I was temporarily unable to play ETS2/ATS. Then at the start of 2023 my life priorities shifted substantially and my trucksim hobby fell by the wayside. Both of these together meant my motivation to update my trucksim projects was low. I'm slowly getting back into things though, I have a rig and can play again, and I'm ready to start working on my projects once more.
My top priority is getting all the templates updated for all the new trucks/trailers/DLC parts I've missed. As part of testing them as I make them, I'll also be updating Paint Job Packer to support all the new vehicles. I've graciously had help with that from a contributor on GitHub, so that shouldn't take too much time. My next priority is making a major update to PJP with improved macOS & Linux support, better handling of templates, visual improvements and more.
Bare with me as I get back into the swing of things, I've got a lot to catch up on, but I'm hoping to get updates out for the template packs and Paint Job Packer either late December or early next year. I've also got some other ideas cooking which might come out some time later in 2026, who knows ;)
Thanks for all the support and kind words over the last three years, I appreciate you all!

Update!
I've switched to Linux and have run into some tech issues — the trucksim Blender tools (official and community) only work on Windows, as do Photoshop or Affinity. I've got Photoshop on Mac, and Windows Blender running on Linux, but not vice versa, so I haven't been able to work on the new templates yet. I'm working on it though!

Re: Complete pack of truck & trailer templates
Glad to have you back, I'd like to point out some of the issues with the current templates before you release new version so maybe you could do small modifications to fix those issues. While designing a trailer skin these positions I've marked with green isn't visible in template so it often causes issues because the skin renders under those lines / signs. It could be cool if we can clearly see those within templates so we can reposition our stuff based on that.Carsmaniac wrote: 29 Nov 2025 02:42 Hi all, thank you so much for your patience and I apologise for my extended absence.
