While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

dear Ivan, I trust you take into account a few aspects that other car makers seems to have failed:
- interior detail, we should have the feeling that we drive a car and not a few pieces of cheep shinny plastic.
- physics! the biggest problem with cars, accelerating to 100 km/h in 2 seconds already in the 2nd speed and braking within 10 meters
- hookup. we need to be able to haul a small trailer, and keep the ETS2 main goal alive, taking jobs and delivering
if you manage correctly these aspects you will deliver than a great mod! and for sure in the future I will allocate more than 1% of my driving time to cars.
good luck with your project!

Sure is, just make sure you're using "clean" colors, like instead of using the default red, blue, or green that most graphics programs give you, actually manually tweak rgb values, like so:

Important because using the green on the color picker gives you this:

. . . . which would make your headlights/ tail lights flash with your turn signals, for example.

I completely agree with cipinho! I have the trust in Ivan that he will do this. Interior detail should be very good, since we spend most of our ETS2/ATS time inside the cab
