Can anyone point me towards the stock paint job templates for the k100E? I'd like to create some skins using the stock paint job templates and add my colors, logo etc.

Yes, yes, I've downloaded the mod. I wasn't able to loacate the correct files here: \def\vehicle\truck\kenworth.k100e_of\paint_job, but did some more digging and located the .dds files here \vehicle\truck\upgrade\paintjob\kenworth.k100e_of - I was hoping to find a .ps or .ai file that I could layer on top of the truck exterior template

"Legacy" sleepers are mainly for husband and wife teams that are on the road 10 months out of the year. I'd have one on a pre 2008 KW or Pete to make into an RV and pull a gooseneck trailer for my GTO and another small daily driver. Or convert an Allied furniture trailer to living quarters with room for a car. Even a used race car NASCAR trailer would work. RV plates and no logbook or permit worries. Then I'd travel to my heart's content. That was the reason I never gave up my Class A CDL. It was my plan when I retired from the Teamsters. No way that's gonna happen these days with fuel costs through the roof.

Back in the 80s in California I met up with a guy that had a 625hp CAT and 13 speed with a diesel generator in a KW900, with a 110 " sleeper. That was one nice setup. My thought has always been to have a large sleeper and still be legal for length, so you were comfortable when you had to lay over away from home. Beats getting a motel room.

@overfloater

Thanks for updating the K100e to the latest patch. :)

In the new version of k100e [STEAM] for patch 1.44 open beta in game.log there are several warnings about "... *.pma' has incorrect file version 4 - expected version 5.."
E.g
<WARNING> [model] Model animation '/vehicle/truck/kenworth.k100e_of/interior/wheel_updown_anim.pma' has incorrect file version 4 - expected version 5
I checked on a new test profile with no other mods.

I found a way to fix it easily, just run ATS with the parameter: -conversion_dump_path e.g. D: \ ats_dumpfix
The game will automatically re-convert the files to this directory when browsing the accessories in the dealer workshop.
Then you need to replace the converted files.

Custom sleepers aren't dumb or ugly, whether they're made by Legacy or some other company. They're for those that live on the out road most of the year working and living in their trucks. Whether alone or as husband-and-wife teams. I've known many that do that, and they love it. Saves them lots of money in the long run. Mainly no motel or hotel expenses. Just about everything you need is in them. They can add what they want no matter what it is. I've seen them carry their motorcycles and mini cars too. It's home away from home.
