SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Sorry for the question, because I'd certainly find the answer by looking a few years back at this thread, and I know that Seerman keeps it up to date, but cant do it now... but why did overfloater 'abandon' its mods? I remember one of his last projects, if not the International 9300... I agree with Ludo, his mods are incredible, Harven's are also excellent.

I do have Harven's FLB. Butttt I'm a Kenny guy lol. The main thing is I must have an Eaton H-pattern 13 or 18 speed to drive ATS/ETS2. Personal preference. EU trucks aren't Eaton. The ZX gearbox (iirc or something like that) is close but its not what I'm looking for.

@flight50 I recently figured out how to use the 18-speed and it’s made ATS that much more enjoyable. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why I kept stalling when I was learning and got frustrated and went back to an automatic for a bit, but now I think for the most part I’ve got it, and I probably won’t go back to using an automatic in ATS…at least not anytime in the near future.

I wish there was White-Freightliner WFT mod with the same level of quality as this one. That one is my favourite American cabover.

ZF is a manufacturer, analogue to Eaton. But there are no European trucks/gearboxes in the game that have 18 gears. 12, some 14, but not 18. Maybe mod some ATS gearboxes into ETS2.

ZF gearbox
Lol. Yeah that it. I knew it was Z something. I'd love to use a vanilla ETS2 truck to avoid mods but the ZF just isn't my meal ticket. I can care less about modern day dashes. That's why the K100 is perfect in ETS2 for me. COE and it's a Kenny with an Eaton.

I don't mod. I don't even have time to play ATS much. Yet alone ETS2. Last time I really drove in ETS2 was the Baltics which I really liked. The K100 was alive and well then. The K100 is why I was playing ETS2. Since not really any updates for ETS2 I went more exclusively ATS.

ZF's analogue for EF's 18-speeders are their own 16-speeders - well, at least a kind of. K100's European "brothers" usually get those 16-spd ones for heavy hauls and\or for comfortable highway cruising.

Me myself am not quite a fan of "a lot of gears" but I remember seeing a ZF 16-spd. with 17.xx-something first gear (the 16th one is 1.0, direct), delivering a decent 1700%+ overall range, pretty comparable with EF 18-spd.

But on the other hand I do agree, ZF overally seems to provide less wide range of various sorts of truck gearboxes

I've been using this for a little while here on ETS slowly digging through the mod, learning how everything interacts and changing a few little things here and there. One thing I can't seem to fix however is the way the lighting is off on the windows. Attached image.

https://prnt.sc/q48zVMMI55o5

As you can see is much too bright and no matter what I've found in the mod files I can't seem to find anything that correlates to this. Any help would be appreciated.

Just convert it over to ETS yourself, that's what I've been doing. Just can't figure out how to fix the window glare issue..
