SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Gonna give this a shot now, the automat folder is the one spot I haven't really dug through so I figured it had to be in there somewhere.

HOLY CRAP* YOU ARE AMAZING THIS WAS IT!!! Took a bit of digging but finally found the two, had to change the ones for the windshield (that was just the small triangle window) and ofc the side windows. If anyone else is curious, it was the "290bdc7a..." file in the automat\29 folder for the side windows and the "15d192fd..." file in the automat\15 folder for the front windshield respectfully. Thanks again to PikPikker for the great help :)

Edit: Well now I'm even more confused, I was using a test profile to do this because loading 104 mods everytime takes way longer than 1 of course lol, anyway that 290bdc7a... file took away the correct windows for the k100 on the test profile, but when i load my actual profile it doesn't. however if i do it for the 15d192fd... file it works across both of them.... why would the 29 file be any different? mega confused again

^You may want to remove the first sentence my friend. This is pretty much a PG site.

As for my own experience only one glass file for single interior model should be enough no matter how many windows it has.

Also about automats - lots of mods tend to include tons of foreign material files and your edited ones might get replaced with mods loaded with higher priority, thus it's better to load your current truck with somewhere above all of other models like trucks, trailers, maps and so on.

Also it might be a thing to pack two those mats as a separate mod and install with highest priority.

Anyway I cannot say for sure because it depends from a huge amount of things...

well hey you definitely gave me some food for thought here, I was kind of thinking it might be a mod conflicting with this mod but ive got over 100 mods going at the same time on my main profile so trying to diagnose anything is just a nightmare LOL I'm just happy I have the game stable at this point. Definitely gonna keep digging into this though because I really want to make this truck 100% playable in the current game even though I'm using it on ETS.

If I was however, to just load those specific texture files as a separate mod, all I would have to do is put the correct folder order, save it as an .scs file and put it at the top, right?

You can let it go without packing at all, for example if you make folder "K100_fixed_windows" and put that automat with those two subfolders inside it will already work, and you will find it as a mod in the manager just like it were a .scs file

Shouldn't make any actual difference for the game core since it's just two 1-kb files.

Activate that newly made mod at the top priority (1st in the mod manager) and you should be ready to roll ;)

sick okay i did exactly that but i put it as a .scs file since I did it before i seen your reply haha but i got it at the very top of my mod list so hopefully it'll work. I haven't seen the issue come up so far but idk if the Sun has been in the right spot as well but will report back

edit 4/18: i believe that making it as a separate mod and loading it at the top of the list worked, I haven't noticed the incorrect window texturing in the game here in the last few IRL days and surely at some point I would have seen it. Might take the mod off until i see the issue again and then reactivate it to be 100% sure that was the fix but I'm already almost 100% certain it was.

You can load the k100 into MS2 by using the function under SCS tools, vehicles, click on add vehicle and choose which one you want to use. I always go into the Steam folder and copy mod and paste it on my desktop, then use that to load it into MS2. There is two files made, one for the set back axle and one for forward axle.
