I guess I would agree about Safford replacing San Simon. And about Camp Verde - I'm too rarely there to have a comment about that town

And since the news about 1.45 hit recently...

You should mark Cody in Wyoming as an upcoming town

Also - San Rafael is "nuked" since 1.44 is in place. I hope that Cody isn't that "replacement" for it...
Personal Truck Wishlist:

ETS2: Ford F-Max or SISU Polar or M-B Actros 5 (2019);
ATS: KW W990 or Intl' HX 520/620 or WS 4900.

Hopefully someday there will be no red (and eventually blue) roads left.
Yeah I have a good feeling about most of the red. The only one that isn't possible is US-285 in New Mexico. Without a major rework, I think the models used just don't allow it. US-50 and US-2 to WA-20 should be next up. ID-21 is 50/50. US-24 should happen at some point. US-70/US-60 would be great if it was all aligned right and inserted with the Arizona rebuild.

Then there is Southern Utah, smh. That one will always go round and around along with SLC mountains. Utah's to biggest negatives. That is the biggest add right there but scenic wise, its fit well and fills in that huge hole. It helps for detours too. One of the expert terrain rock mappers should tackle that project. It would look sweet hands down. Another route for density.

The replacement of San Rafael is definitely San Jose,CA.

Utah DLC feels pretty bland tbh. It definitely needs the roads in the southeast, so it will have its "soul".
Also knowing SCS, I'm pretty sure that MT-43 (shortcut between Salmon and Butte) will be the next red road on my map of missing roads.

I’m still holding onto hope for MT-43. In the video for the passes blog you can see a sign for it and the US 93 terminus when they show Lost Trail Pass. Not confirmed but at least there’s that setup for it!

Didn't follow all the blogs that much. So there is some hope. Ok then.

Yes, this blog pic should be the indication for MT-43. I'm optimistic for it. Davido has been cranking in new energy into the map develop projects he's on. He's been around for awhile. He's been reading the forum obviously on his projects. I think the most successful maps have the map leads in tune with feedback here. Either day one, come back and add later or planning for updates. Davido has come thru twice so far. I'd like to say MT-43 is something he has read about and it will be day one. Social media in general counts but if anything is official, it would be their on forum. Using this a feedback, at least consider. Write it down...note it. If more buzz kicks in on the topic, its probably worth implementing.

I think a lot more from the fan made map comes full circle. At the end of the day, some of the markups just make sense. Shortcuts, detours....tourist roads......if it makes money....if it means more people will buy the dlc.....why not go for it. Maps are the bread and butter. Gameplay features are important as well but if you have no map.....and new ones at that, people would fall off in even greater numbers.

@ads678 i think that in the missing roads map you should add the "famous" CA-99,both north and south of Sacramento imho

Honestly, I don't see how North of Sacramento works now with the way it was reworked. At best, partial CA-99 to get Chico and then connect that up with CA-44. I'd love to see that gap used though but with phase 2 being what it is, I don't see how we can get all of CA-99 connected.

@Guguz This is what I proposed over in the base map discussion thread not to long ago. We have the truck stops and Corning, CA already. We have CA-44 already. We'd get 2 ways in and out of Chico. Not to mention a brand new economy and density for Northern California. California could use a city revamp to the point that economy makes sense to deliver to. SCS has come a long ways since the game released and California can basically be a brand new dlc.

Not trying to get CA-99 further South of Chico also for Chico to take up some space and fill out. I'd rather a nice sized Chico than trying to get in Yuba City and a connection to Sacramento. Sure it would have been idea, but its a difficult task now. I'll take the compromise and settle for just Chico with fresh new economic city. California should be a dense as SCS can get it. Too many gaps in the map when trucks use (x) routes sends an empty vibe to new comers imho. Fill out California too.
