License Plate Pack part 2 (23.12.24)

While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

No, Vad&k mentioned it before.

Hi, great mod, is there any way i can make the plates compatible with a bullbar mod so that they can go on the slots of that mod?
Thanks

You'll most likely have to rework the bullbar mod itself, adding slots and configuration files to the bullbars. I don't know of any easy way to adapt such mods.

Is it possible to adapt the license plates ourselves to the 6x2 chassis of the Volvo FH6? I have the impression that it reverses the process: the ML1 ends up at the rear instead of the front when I modify the suitable. :?: :?:

This is because SCS used the "ml1" node name for both the front and rear license plates in the chassis models, assigning a different "function" from the hookup library to each.
ml1 - front license plate:

Code: Select all

SiiNunit
{
license_plate : license.plate
{
}
}
ml1 - rear license plate:

Code: Select all

SiiNunit
{
license_plate : license.plate_rear
{
	rear_plate: true
}
}
The only way to "fix" this is to edit the chassis models and rename the rear node to "ml2" like it does for other chassis (e.g., 4x2).
Unless there's some way to use the hookup library bindings and reference the definition entry, which I'm not aware of.

@Warrior-deisgn I'm not sure I understood your question correctly. But perhaps you should pay attention to the line that begins with the word

Code: Select all

variant:
For the front license plate, use

Code: Select all

variant: custom
For the rear license plate, use:

Code: Select all

variant: custom_r
But, most likely, if the problem were only in the configuration file, I would have implemented support for this chassis myself. You definitely need Blender to figure out what the real problem is.

Good afternoon, vad&k. In update 1.58 for Scania R/S, new bumpers were added that protrude a little further forward, causing the standard license plates, as well as the plates from your mod, to be obstructed. Could you please take a look? Maybe there's a way to fix this, or perhaps a new dummy has been added?

Good afternoon, @VersettiSP I'll probably need to make new 3D models of the license plates to support the new bumpers. I can't be more precise because I'm having serious electrical issues. So, I simply don't have the time to test anything in-game or work on mods.

Good afternoon, @vad&k, will the Norwegian License plate come in the Future?
