All transmissions for 9900i comes with retarders. Did i do something wrong or is it that way?

I am using that to simulate the engine brake behaviour but no retarder is not actually used for braking.

Hi @galimim,

The torque-curve of the A26_400 in the LT and hx520 has a line:

torque_curve[]: (957, 1)

and further down, the dual torque reads

Code: Select all

torque_curve[]: (975, 1)

I wonder, if the 957 may be a typo... as the "A26-Specs-rev-0717.pdf" from Int'l says (and shows) "1550/1750 lb-ft @ 975 RPM" for this engine.

Yep a typo. Will be fixed in one of the future updates.

but retarder works like normal retarder. i prefer normal transmissions and engine brake. could we see retarderless transmissions in your mod?
