Newcastle upon Tyne inspiration
For Newcastle I have put together a collection of roads and landmarks I think would be important/interesting to add
1.
the A19
The A19 is an important road for accessing important places such as cobalt business park as well as providing access from places along the coast up to Scotland, important features on the road that I can provide info for are the:
Tyne tunnel
This is 2 tunnels located under the river Tyne near the mouth , it is the lowest crossing of the river and is on the a19, near its mouth there are numerous interesting junctions linking to roads such as the coast road which goes into Newcastle city centre as well as being near to junctions to get to cobalt business park and multiple trading estates and the port of Tyne , the tunnel is a toll road costing £2.40 for cars and £4.80 for trucks however it has removed its toll booths and now you have to pay online

A19 to coast road grade separated junction
Located 2 junctions north of the Tyne tunnel this junction is a three level stacked roundabout, it is an important junction for connecting the coast road and the A19 up with each other allowing access into Newcastle city centre and into various business, retail and industrial parks as well as providing access to the port of Tyne and the ferry to Amsterdam

Link to the A1
The junction connecting to the A1 is a trumpet interchange with a roundabout right in front of it, this is an important junction as it connects the two major roads together

2.
The coast road
The coast road is a road running from Newcastle city centre to North Shields and being an urban dual carriageway it features many interesting features such as the junction with the A167M
