SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
Hiya Specialists, I'm quite a newbie who just learnt some tutorials from YouTube and start to make an engine sound mod.
I don't have trouble in FMOD whereas have some questions about the sound itself since I'm not a truck driver IRL, so pls forgive me if these questions are dumb.
1. I see there are "loaded" "unloaded" "nofuel" in engine's section, so what exactly are they referring to? I guess it looks to me as the "loaded" is the sound of engine when I push the throttle in game, if so, what's the difference between "nofuel" and "unloaded"?
2. when I'm driving, I can hear a sound while shifting the gear from 6 to 2 and release the clutch for instance, what's that and how to definite it in FMOD, Is it an engine's sound? The only one I can tell from tutorial is the "engine brake" sound but I thought it's supposed to be a Jake brake sound.
3. I got some resources from web, However I couldn't separate the engine and exhaust's sounds, in this case, Can I only make the exhaust sound to silence in FMOD?
4. I made an air horn sound, It has melody, then If I push the horn twice very quickly, they were superposed each other, how to make the second trigger wait for the end of the first one? The "cut" option?
That's all, Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
-- Raymond

1. actually you can name and make audio tracks however you want. but in the case your are mentioning "load" is the sound when you push full throttle, "unload" is the sound when you push the throttle halfway through, and "nofuel" is the sound when you let off the throttle
2. the question is not clear though, I will assume you're talking about shifting sound. so yeah as its name it's gearbox shifting sound when you shift the gear
3. yes you can just don't touch exhaust event and put everything in engine event, however seperate engine and exhaust sound properly should give better sound and easier to manage for users
4. yes there is "cut" option for every assets(sounds) you put in

@SlavJerry
Ah, You're Slav Jerry! I realize this is you until quoted your name, The tutorials in YouTube were made by you, Right? Thanks for your efforts putting on them.
For the Question 1 and 3, I see, Thanks.
2. Sorry for my awful english, I mean while driving in 6th gear, then I see a weight station, I put into second gear, release the clutch, then the truck starts to slow down, I can hear a sound at that time, It just sounds like the engine is working on the deceleration, Or it's just the sound "nofuel" you mentioned? However it's sounded not quite like that.
For the Question 4, I made some tests today but to no avail, Anyway, I will describe it more specifically with the sound I made and some shots of FMOD.
Thank you again, SlavJerry, and your splendid tutorials!
