While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

there is no any change on fmod in 1.46 though, probably just compatible version issue
I found out my big mistake, I didn't use the actual template, instead I used an outdated peterbilt 579 example. Once I re-created my audio files with the actual template, they seem to work perfectly fine now, all the way to 7,000 rpm :)
Once you said compatible version issue, I remembered that is what I had missed. Thank you!

I blindly hit continue on this popup, but I decided to read it. I'm sure it's fine, right? [ external image ]

Quote removed - Don't quote images - Rule 2.3

Well, I thought my original issue was all about the version of the files, however I missed the pointer in the console that said FMOD cant play compressed audio. I thought about it, then I realized, I ended up using .WAV extension instead of .OGG. I figured out a workaround, and now the audio is working perfectly!

Are you using .wav or .ogg file format?

Also, check to see if your audio is set to have streaming enabled, example: [ external image ]

actually you shouldn't put stream on, it can cause a lot of sound problems

It seems to be alright, atleast to me, though at the same time, if I didn't have stream on, I am unable to hear audio.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to separate the internal and external engine startup, idle and engine shutoff sounds with FMOD. Basically what I am trying to achieve here is I want to include the dashboard computer beeping when the truck starts up from the inside. Can someone tell me if this is possible and how I can go about doing it? Thanks

Since FMOD, you can only have one set of sounds, both for interior and exterior use. It's dumb but not much we can do about it.
Seasonic SSR-650TD; Intel Core i5-6700K; Gainward GTX 1060 6GB Phoenix GS; 2x Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB; 2x Crucial MX500 2TB; 3x Seagate IronWolf Pro; Corsair Force MP510 960GB; 2x 24" AOC I2481FXH; Windows 10

@Kameer yes you can, by use built-in distance parameter you can make interior sound audible only inside the truck width and exterior only outside the truck width. like this.
