FMOD Discussion [ATS]
Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
Finally!
Can't wait to be in weekend to test this out.
I guess we also can adjust the interior volume as well?
Thank you mate

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
Seems like the Renault Magnum in ETS2 also has the loud interior issue by default.
@kriechbaum - Yes, by tweaking the gain values. This will be excellent for sound mods

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
So will this effect how sound banks are created, or will it be something that those who create the trucks themselves will setup, that will in turn effect how the sound mods are played?

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
@serialblack - Unless you want to revise how the truck sounds from the outside, nothing needs to change with the sound bank.
The difference now is we have the option of tuning the reverb effects and how the low/mid/high frequencies sound depending on the window states for each type of truck cabin.
Basically, the same engine sound can be specified to sound slightly different in certain trucks or different cab sizes.
Because definition files are used to tweak this, it's more accessible for users to tweak too

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
Ok friends, this all good.
But I'm have a two question to SCS or some smart people
Does it work now? (example):
1) position_offset=0;0;7.7 for inside place?
2) spatializer_engine for inside place?

Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
@Drive Safely Okay that makes sense, thank you for clarifying that. It would be nice to be able to play with those values more, this would work well with the older trucks that were essentially metal boxes on frames when things like comfort didn't seem to matter.
Re: FMOD Discussion [ATS]
Hey I am trying to re create a sound effect where every time I come off the accelerator, the truck will release a turbo whine, kinda like an open pipe truck, how do I create that effect in FMOD?
