Yep, I definitely forgot about the fertilizers. I suppose that can tie into chemical plants too which should come to ATS. I'll start digging into both seeds and fertilizers to see what all I can find. Don't worry, I'll give you credit for these two, lol.

Speaking of potash, I thought we'd get some with the Utah dlc. If we can give more locations or processing, I think the devs can double back for Utah.

@flight50 I can add a lot to this. I will be contributing to this a lot.

We can already haul fertilizer from Chemso. So that is already there. I would leave the fertilizer name as that as there are so mant different types.

Most fertilizer is hauled in end dumps or hopper bottoms. Anhydrous is hauled in tanks. Propane tanks and anhydrous tanks are interchangable, just a matter of switching placards. I would create a cargo for anhydrous personally. Hopefully we get more ownable tankers also end dumps.

End dumps are very versitle. Not only can you haul fertilizer and grain you can haul animal meal, roofing grit, sand, scrap, etc. Plus a end dump you can get into places a hopper bottom can't.

When I was running a end dump. I always loaded roofing grit which is the coloring they used in shingles. I would take that to Ennis, Texas or Shreveport, Louisiana then I would load ammonia nitrate in Arkansas and go back to Missouri. Depending where I went to in Missouri I would load recycled scrap and take that to a steel plant in Arkansas then reload fertilizer for my reload back towards the house. Use to load fertilizer off of barges.

@Larry71490. Awesome man. Add as much as you'd like. The more info added the more the devs will keep and eye on this thread. ATS is hurt for cargo and with each new dlc added, they can account for it and plan for it well ahead of time. That way, its available when the dlc is added.

Not to mention, I love learning about all aspects of trucking. I figure if I can't be one irl, I can be aware of what I am missing, lol.

Also is this method popular for farming produce over there? Would be good for more palletised cargo farming wise as well.

@howey. Yep, definitely agree with the round bails. I have that covered here, but doesn't hurt to have it here too. I am sure the devs look into that flatbed thread as well. Funny thing, we both used the same pic for one of those loads, lol. I also included the use of the step deck trailer in case we get it. @Larry71490, mentioned its more of a specialize trailer but if we ever get it in ATS, that bales is one more cargo that can be added to it.

@flight50 you can hay and onions on both a flat or stepdeck. Hay is better off hauled on a stepdeck actually.

1 point for step decks...hoooray! Larry said it so now SCS has to bring it, lol. Imho, I think introducing a step deck is perfect for a farming dlc. Farms don't have loading docks. There is some tall freight that can come to farms with all their machinery. Page one has some of this on it. Also the flatbed thread in my signature has some of this.
