Yeah, that’s a pretty good description of the many things wrong with the AI. I would also add the AI traffic stopping in the middle of their right turn, just because the traffic light changed from green to yellow.

I really hope that the next big change in game mechanics is going to be AI, it’s really the number one problem the game has.

I hope that with the reworking of Al traffic, scs will completely rework the Al traffic, create a density of Al traffic, (for example, denser in cities and on highways and less on district roads) and rework traffic lights to be longer green or red and yellow / orange, create congestion around major cities, and when entering them what I wrote also applies to ETS2

I noticed an issue with traffic not using the space either, In Tuscon I think there were 3 phases of lights for traffic trying to turn right, who weren't clearing the off ramp, despite their being enough space especially for the cars to have done so.

There are already mods for that in the workshop. I think they don't even actually add new parameters to the game but simply adjust SCS' ones.

SCS could, when reworking AI traffic, add trucks with triple trailers to in AI fraffic

Also need to add way more cars, SUVs and lots of EVs.
And rework old ones. Like the civil Crown Vic has a Police Interceptor badge and antenna!

Well, it's not unrealistic. It could be a decommissioned police car that has been bought by a civilian.
That's a thing in North America. As long as the computer, lights etc... have been removed, it's legal for a civilian to own one of these.

@Polarlicht I agree scs could use traffic mod from jazzycat, it adds a lot of vehicles, cars, SUVs, pickups, vans, then there is a mod for classic vehicles and sports also from jazzycat, I use all 3, of course scs would have to remove logos and names on vehicles so that they do not have legal problems

the logos are not the problem, the problem are the developers/games from where jazzycat stole all these models to use them
