SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
It is explained in post 1 and has been since 1.39 came out.....
** IMPORTANT - this hasn't changed with 1.39 but many people are running into problems by not using a new template for every fspro you create; this is a critical step regardless of what version you are working in. It is also important to delete the template you used and unzip it again from the download for your next project; regardless of what you rename and save the fspro as it will leave remnants of assets, metadata etc where you unzipped the template which can cause problems in the next fspro you create.

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
ok after I tried to put my 2 sounds bank to new created template I fixed a problem and create new problem, first I need to explain what is in my mod.
my mod have 3 sounds bank, 1 bank use default game name (scania_v8) and 2 left use different name (scania_eu3_v8 and scania_eu6_v8).
problem is scania_v8 and scania_eu6_v8 works fine, but scania_eu3_v8 doesn't work. and when I restart the game scania_eu3_v8 works but scania_eu6_v8 doesn't work instead.

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
Did you give the engine defs unique names in all of them or are you using the same name in two different mods?

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
Not sure then, have never run across this but I would suggest looking through post 1 to see if you are missing steps somewhere....I have made almost 100 mods now without a problem

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
Hi Folks,
I have an engine sound mod which contains an annoying gearbox whine built into it. I extracted the engine bank file with FMOD Bank Tools, identified the offending sound file and replaced it with a silent one, same name, same extension. When I tried it out, I noticed I lost the idle sound of the engine, which is strange, because I didn't touch that one. After trying a few things, I just tried a simple extract - rebuild on the original bank without changing anything, and it resulted in the same problem, so it's the extract-rebuild that screws things up for some reason. I noticed that the size of the bank file before extracting is ~14 MB, and after rebuilding it drops to about half of that, without changing any of the sound files. Has anyone encountered such an issue so far? If not I'll just live with the annoying whine .
Thanks!

@Desmond0313 Never had any issues using bank tools and have not seen it change the file size during the process either. Is it a public mod I could have a look at and see if I spot anything?

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
@Robinicus sorry I just realized my reply was deleted because I broke the rules.
So no, unfortunately I cannot send it. I tried experimenting around with different formats in the tool, there were some where the idle sound came back, but no matter which one I picked, there were problems with looping and with the blending between certain RPMs, so I guess this mod uses some special events or something (I'm not familiar with FMOD at all, apologies if I butchered any terminology ), which the tool breaks when I extract and rebuild the bank. Not a big deal, I can live with it, I just figured if I can get rid of that 1 annoying sound I'd try.

Re: FMOD Discussion [ETS2]
Hello everybody, how are you? Today I will show to those who want to learn how to make the suspension noise and the interior noise. Although there are several people who know, but do not like or do not want to share with those who want to learn I decided to share with you something that took me some time to find out, but when I found out I saw that it is very easy. So here are some pictures of how I did it, I hope they help in your projects.
Suspension Noise: Parameter Continuous Suspension Noise: Here you put the sound in Multi. I have adjusted the pitch to my liking, you can adjust it your way as in an asphalt noise. Interior Noise: Put the sound in Multi
