California needs way more distribution centers in the rebuild. Isn't the only large one in game still in Colorado?

It pretty much is. They tried to make one in Sacramento but instead they went the lazy route and just stuck a bunch of prefabs around a pretty good looking scenery distribution center. Although that kinda fits how Sacramento looks as a whole.
What good is a world without good detail?

Yeah, I just went through Sacramento today. There are a number of distribution centers (especially in Tracy) along the way: feels weird the game almost has none.

Ah, you have a screenshot of this place https://www.google.com/maps/@37.7257068 ... a=!3m1!1e3
A bit east of it, is even more https://www.google.com/maps/@37.7528813 ... a=!3m1!1e3 + stuff not shown, due to satellite view not updated.
But Tracy is a bit south of Sacramento.
Sacramento has this https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5211863 ... a=!3m1!1e3 ingame.

1:20 scale- Sacramento warehouse area is fine. Make bigger warehouse area how you add US-50 or rebuild the map its balancing out means have exclude 95% of assets and landmarks.

Sure you can add warehouse areas outside Sacramento to Stockton then need seemless transition to argicultural areas. The 1:20 scale have to think how it flows with the roads and the map.

I think the Sacramento industrial area is okay. Only thing I'd change up is adding more deliverable locations. That's why only have SellGoods as the only Logistics depot in ATS is bad. For areas just like this, we could easily have 3-4 Logistics companies. There like 15+ in that business park. I don't think there should be a set number of depots per marked city. When things apply, just add them. When 8-10 apply, put 8-10. If 15-20 total makes sense, fill out the city. Not all depots have to go inside the city itself. If remote depots in scenic cities continues when tagged to marked cities, that would be ideal.

They did a really nice job on the industrial park though but more could be do if ATS has more company diversity. For a game that is about transporting goods and services, we don't have enough option diversity. Imho, 4 of those buildings could have been a depot to add variety to make work going to that industrial park worth it. The chances of taking an out load increases with variety. Owned trailers benefit for more city options for sure. More deliverable places in this park can also add a little bit of a challenge to get trucks docked in a tighter space with a sleeper +53' trailer for those that want the challenge.

If SCS someday rebalances company economy, more depots added in the maps.
As in doing so, that there wont be an imbalance in freight.

That imbalance can be seen in Poland Rebuild, I think I have read.

@Shiva yup the Poland rebuild add on did that with Promods. Almost all freight market jobs when Poland Rebuild was added to Promods went to the so called "golden triangle" . They put way to many companies in that bit. Wasn't fun at all like that.
My biggest problem with the game is the Freight Market, creating lots of jobs from where you are to one or in one specific direction. Poland rebuild made that even worse.

I am in ATS right now enjoying ph2. For grins, I accepted a job from Redding via I-5 to I-80. Reno to Wells, smh. Needs the rebuild asap after Ph3. Fast track that bad boy to bring value to dlc's East of Nevada. The rebuild team should have capacity by then again. Both the current dlc's will be out.

South of Phase 3 is much easier mapping that junior mappers will have no issues. Fewer cities of large scale to deal with. If Stockton comes with ph3, great. After that lots of open terrain and smaller cities. Potentially Modesto and Visalia could come with phase 4. Then there is Fresno, Bakersfield, Santa Maria and Oxnard if they choose to keep it to redo with phase 4. Imo, that leaves room to fast track I-80 simultaneously as part of Phase 4 before hitting South of Bakersfield.

Depending on when phase 3 hits. If I am interpreting correctly, it sure sounded like lots of work was already done in advanced stage on the California rebuild stream. Maybe phase 3 for 1.46 or for Spring 2023. Then maybe phase 4 xmas 2024. At least that's the way I'd love to see it all played out. That then leaves phase 5 for 2025 and potentially a huge chunk of more Nevada.

lol Every now and then I do drive I-80 NV, I don't know if it's to remind myself, how bad it is, trying to fool myself it somehow got better or maybe I'm just a masochist  Either after Phase 3 or Texas is complete, which ever comes first and get her done.
