I think a decent remaking/rebuilding of Vegas would be nice, the sharp turn into the city on I-15 from Primm still annoys me, and SCS has learned alot since it was originally reworked years ago. I say give the rework team a 3rd chance at the city.
Hoping for the CA-99/CA-58 interchange to be fixed.......

I honestly say a 2nd revamp. I think the majority of I-15 and I-515 (I-11) is solid. I do think other than that, the layout and depots pretty much all need to change. US-93 and US-95 needs do be remade from scratch to get those aligned better. I also think a lot more of West Vegas needs to come as its more industrial for trucking. So basically 80% of it can get redone.

@parasaurolophus67 Your opinion is your opinion. Don't change it just because others think something else. I definitely speak for myself and you should too. If you give people the option to start over, of course they will say that to get it all new. But its not necessary in every situation imho. I-15 and I-515 in the last revamp was really solid and it holds up. Patrik reworked Vegas, no the entire reworks team. Only one mapper does a city at a time. Lots of updating assets and depots. Bring the football stadium. The truck stop in Vegas is spot on. East of I-15, the layout can go. Its too fictional. A better layout can come. West of I-15 is really none existent. Now the easiest thing for mappers to do is do it from scratch. Especially for a mapper that was not around with the other assets and tools used.

With PRT coming though, the strip is a must to get more of it. We need more blocks of the Strip. I'd say the Welcome sign all the way up to Flamingo is solid. That gives us both Flamingo and Tropicana and both got back to I-11.
This is a very old sketch I did 2 years ago. But I'd like to see Vegas look more like this layout. 215 is too tight so it can get omitted if we get Sunset. Sunset is needed to properly get in the Welcome sign. The Airport probably won't fit either.

Personally, I want SCS to tear down Las Vegas and rebuild it from the ground up, if they do rebuild LV from the ground up, I really hope they add the Railroad Pass truck stop in Boulder City as there's two big truck stops there and a possible remote depot with the Goodfellow Corporation there. That and McCarren would be cool to see

That truckstop is nice, but at the same time, it would need, space, that might not be there.

Las Vegas? The 1st redone parts are nice, but, then there is the old inaccurate old layout too.
Rebuild, I would say.

Yeah agree on completely rebuilding Las Vegas from the ground up.
The previous rework was great, particularly the highways and highway exits are excellent. But the city center, street layout and the depots are very dated and could really use a makeover.

I would hope for a complete rebuild tbh. As others have said, if not now, when? Older assets and layouts will only stick out more over time and i think the quality gap is even more jarring for new players who have no prior reference (they don't remember "bad" Vegas).

I would guess that the Route 66 redo, will have effects on what fits in Las Vegas. And between Vegas and Kingman.

^That. Most definitely a big concern. Vegas is in a tight spot. I don't want to touch the Gorge. Its nice. They can't really shift Vegas around too much but it can grow West all day long. New casinos assets would be nice. Get some updates on all assets. But I think I-15 and I-515 are solid. I'd try to leave that main network in place and rebuild everything around that. That saves a lot of time since that's already update to current standards.

What isn't a concern though, thankfully, is the arcade issue, since the Iowa DLC featured multiple casinos that were not labeled as arcades, but rather as hotels, but still kept the architecture in tact so you can read between the lines and understand what they are. It's the best of both worlds IMO, and I'm very glad they decided to go that direction :) Not worried about Vegas anymore, in that regard.
