Nemiro did say on the most recent stream that a few more projects are going to be announced soon, maybe the other rework project will get announced?

^Well route 66 was already announced so it can't be that. Annie did a painting awhile back so that's one thing. Rumor for WA and OR refresh is another. But why on earth nothing on Nevada thus far is the biggest head scratcher. PH 4 released Nov 28th 2024. Imho, a year later, ALLLLLL of Nevada should be done Nov 28th 2025. Nevada is sparse, arid and less complex than pretty much anything in ATS so far and could be only a year if a team of 12-13 can do paid maps in more detail in a similar time frame.

Nevada completed for 2025 only leaves Arizona in regards to the base map reworks. So unless they have 1-2 secret teams outside of the 3 paid and 1 reworks teams that we know of....spreading people out instead of tackling the base map first would be a bit disappointing. The order should be Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington then Utah. But definitely tackle the base map before anything else. This is what consoles start with unless they are given more at the start up.

I think you mean I-5, where it connects to and from CA-14. https://www.google.com/maps/@34.3344443 ... 434,2183m/
Truck lanes, as Pasztecior wrote.

I don’t know if trucks are banned on that route though. It’s made because of the grades to make travel more truck friendly.

Wait…can you actually drive in those lanes on I-5?

I usually follow the signage, but I also play with blockers hidden so I don’t know for sure.

Recently, Nemiro said on a stream that there are now 420 employees, and Pavel said he met with a lot of new SCS map designers back in March/April.

I brought up the idea of potentially more reworks (for both games) being announced because it just sounds and seems plausible given the sheer growth of SCS even from a mapper perspective (because it sounds like they are hiring a lot of mappers).

I'm kinda upset that when they reworked CA they didn't add more 3-4 lane freeways. If map mods can add them, I don't see why SCS couldn't.

I have been tempted to try.... but frankly, I'm just going to plow into the hidden blockers at full speed because I wasn't paying attention
